2013 is here, and the games are starting to roll out in full force. Not every game is my cup of tea, but there are a lot of great games on the horizon for all the consoles I own, and I'm excited. Here is my personal list, of the games I'm most looking forward to.

5. Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS)

Fire Emblem: Awakening

I'm not the hugest Fire Emblem fan, but I was a huge fan of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn for the Gamecube and Wii respectively. Those games introduced me to the strategy genre, and I learned the hard way how engaging the series could be. Those games had memorable characters, deep gameplay and a steep amount of challenge that drew me in. With Awakening on the horizon, I grow even more excited at the thought of an expansive story, and great gameplay. I've heard its one of the best in the series, and with free DLC at launch, it was enough to push Ni no Kuni down a notch on my excitement scale (even though I really do want Ni no Kuni, I know I won't have the time to dig into it since school starts very soon after it comes out.)

4. Tales of Xillia (PS3)

Tales of Xillia

Since Tales of Symphonia, I've been a huge fan of the series. I've gone back and played some of the originals, and played most of the new ones (even a few that haven't come out in America) so, Tales of Xillia is a must for me. Im a huge fan of the combat engine, the music and the worlds that the Tales series takes me to. Though the stories and characters are inconsistant, they at least succeed in some area. Xillia holds promise providing two primary characters, and a new twist on the combat engine which get me almost as excited to play it as this battle music :

3. Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends

Rayman Origins looked great, and was praised for its tight controls and outstanding artstyle. I dabbled in it, but seeing the promise of Rayman Legends sparked my interest again. After putting a few hours into Origins, I fell in love with it. I did even more-so after playing the demo at NYCC. The ideas behind the game are great, and make it not only one of the best looking Wii U titles, but possibly one of the best platformers of this generation.

2. Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock Infinite

I was very late to the party with Bioshock. When I finished it, I fell in love with the atmosphere, gameplay and story. Even Bioshock 2 was better than I expected (though the criticism is noticable). Infinite however looks like a beast, with much more dynamic characters, a new environment and new abilities to use. By the way, did I mention that Troy Baker voices the main character. Yeah...Troy Baker is friggin cool...

1. The Last of Us (PS3)

The Last of Us

So did I mention that Troy Baker was in this game? Haha, but seriously, The Last of Us looks incredible. The graphics look amazing, the acting and soundtrack sound great (from the trailers at least). What makes the game more interesting is its premise, having to do with a post-apocalyptic world due to that weird fungus from that Planet Earth documentary that acts like a parasite and drives bugs mad before killing them. Its creepy and Naughty Dog has turned it into a cool looking game. The violence is realistic and brutal. The interaction between Joel and Elle looks really dynamic and interesting, and I can't wait to see how the gameplay changes from location to location. Hopefully this game delivers, but I am extremely excited about playing this come May.

So with that, what games are you looking forward to? Let me know in the comments!
