Thoise fruit snacks sound disappointing. I'd buy them.
Birthday Reviews!

Guess what week this is? It’s my birthday! (Sept. 15). But I’ve got presents for YOU! New reviews I’ve written over at GamerDad.com! Just what you’ve always wanted! Please click on the links and read as many as you can and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. And in the comments section here, just for fun why don’t you give me a pretend birthday present! It’s the thought that counts…literally! It won’t cost you a thing and I love seeing what you all come up with.
Mega Man: Battle and Fighters (Switch)
A lot of people don’t know that Mega Man starred in two arcade games. One was brought to the US, I know because I have the arcade cabinet in my garage. But the sequel stayed in Japan. They looked like fighting games, but they were basically boss rushes. But you could still acquire the boss’ weapons and use them against other bosses who had a weakness to those weapons. You can play these arcade games on some collections, like the most recent Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. But did you know that around the time these games were released, there was a home port of these titles on a handheld device? SNK’s late 90s handheld, the NEO GEO Pocket Color, got a port of these games combined into one: Rockman: Battle and Fighters. It was never released in the US until now with Mega Man: Battle and Fighters on the Switch. As a fan of both Mega Man and the NGPC, I’m really glad I got to review this!
Sonic the Hedgehog Fruit Snacks
Guess what I found at the grocery store the other day? Sonic the Hedgehog fruit snacks. Now the speedy blue blur can grace your kids’ lunchboxes this school year! I got a press release a few months ago saying that they were going to come out with Sonic fruit snacks plus a Sonic cereal. So I guess the fruit snacks finally came out. I haven’t seen the cereal yet but if I do, you’ll know I’ll buy it and definitely write about it! You’d think they would’ve had this kind of Sonic foodstuffs before now, but they haven’t. So let’s take a quick look at the fruit snacks!
Sofiya and the Ancient Clan (PS4)
You are Sofiya, a cute pink haired witch out to save the day in this 2D side scrolling 16-bit styled platformer. Run, double jump, and use magic blasts to defeat enemies in this game.
Pretty Girls Four Kings Solitaire (PS4)
Play a different version of solitaire while unlocking a bevvy of anime ladies in Pretty Girls Four Kings Solitaire.
Relive the fun of playing with your tub toys as a kid with Smash Boats on the Switch. Charge into other toy boats to sink them in water filled arenas like bathtubs, kiddie pools, sinks, toilets, and more! The game has actually been out for more than a year, but it finally got an update with a co-op and competitive party mode, which it sorely needed.
A brother and sister are playing together and living out their fantasies as they play pretend to make their way back home. You’ll seamlessly switch between fantasy and reality in this point and click style adventure that uses no words. It actually reminds me of a game I reviewed a little over a year ago called Fire: Ungh’s Quest.
You are in a medieval fantasy world and one night a red ninja steals your family’s magic book. The ghost of your grandfather requests that you get it back, as it holds mysterious powers. So you take up a sword and go on a quest to get the book back in this 2-D, 16-bit retro styled top down adventure.
You are a dude in a fire retardant hazmat suit and you must go around burning up all the monsters in a level. Armed with a flamethrower and a jetpack, you’ll tromp around 2-D scrolling stages with retro pixel graphics.
And that’s all for now! Thanks for reading and posting ‘likes’ and comments on my reviews. And don’t forgot those pretend birthday presents! Later! --Cary
