Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of the better games of 2022.
I reviewed that first Gunvolt Chronicles game:
Pocket Card Jockey does get pretty hard. I got all but three of the trophies before I quit.

Games Beaten
-Wargroove (Switch)
Wargroove is basically Fantasy Advance Wars but is not content to merely live in the shadow of its inspiration. Yes, it plays very similarly to AW but brings some new ideas, too, like the commander units with their special groove attacks. The A/V fits the game so well and there is no shortage of content. Seriously, I feel like beating the main campaign was only scratching the surface of this game but it has scratched my itch for this kind of game for the time being. Good stuff.
Games Bought
October was a light month. One of my kids turned 8 and we got him Kirby and the Forgotten Land (Switch), which he was very excited about. My copy of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 (Switch) also came in the mail from Limited Run (I should probably, you know, play the first one now...). I meant to get some of the PS+ games but totally forgot about them! What will I do without a larger digital backlog??!?
Games Being Played
-Costume Quest 2 (Wii U)
After years of meaning to play this game, I am finally doing it!
...even though I only played it once before actual Halloween and am now playing most of it in November.
-Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Switch)
More grind!
-Mario Super Picross (Super Famicom - Switch Online)
After months of slow progress, I am in the final set of Wario puzzles! The end is in sight!
-Pocket Card Jockey (3DS)
Progress has slowed here but still playing it. It gets real hard!
-Destiny 2 (PS4)
Just finished up the Halloween event, Festival of the Lost.
