Yeah, I really wish developers would take extra time to finish up a product before they rush it out the door and blunder it, forcing them to come out with a "superior version" later.

NG3 cannot even be updated to Razor's edge via dlc. Kinda sucks!

Maybe this is just stupid optimism from me but ship your game to the developer (team ninja?) and explain your situation. Developers are like any artist, they just want people to experience the best they can offer. Obviously publishers may get in the way of them sending you the fixed version!

Better yet, I'll start a self centered kick-starter entitled "Give me your money so I can buy another game!" Because I am on a low income I'll play the "It's charity!" card too! I'm a genius,yo!

Are you able to trade it in for store credit or something? I'm guessing not, so that sucks, man.

Ha! ha ha! Too true. I thought about selling this to the pawnshop but they would give me one dollar for it. Hell, 100 years from now they'd give me $1.00 for it. lol. Probably the same sad story if I brought it in to game-stop.

I did bro,terrible TERRIBLE! I didn't use the online pass though. I might give this away as a gift if anyone actually is interested. I will say the first area was mostly fun but the climbing mechanics kinda suck. Also, Ryu really doesn't kill in cold blood. I'm sure if some nice bloke put down his weapon and surrendered, Ryu would spare him. Sure, Ryu would knock out the guy to play it safe, but he wouldn't gut him on the spot. Aka, I can see why NG fans were kind of pissed off with the first version of NG3.

It was my fault,Adam. I should have double checked just to be sure what was going on with amazon. Of course had Tecmo/Koei not rushed out NG3 in the first place and gave it their all to begin with I wouldn't be having this issue now.

At least Razor's Edge is only 39.99. Aka, they're not trying to charge full price for it. Besides, on average Tecmo/Koei give me decent games with plenty of replayability. I'm not going to completely forsake them over one dud!

My bad, Chris. I really wanted to play it with you too. As crazy as it sounds, I'll probably get Razor's Edge next month. It's one of those games I've wanted awhile and despite people saying other games are in fact better, I "do" at least know what I like!

I would play NG 3 just to get my money's worth but frankly I don't want Ryu's story spoiled for me.

Why they didn't make a DLC upgrade for the original disc is beyond me. A disc-only upgrade is some Capcom bullshit.

Lol. Yeah, it does reek of capcom. Different developer/studio but the same old bullshit. However, on average Tecmo/Koei are good to me. Dynasty Warriors7 and Warriors Orochi 3 were great. I also got a lot of enjoyment out of Ken's rage.

wait what! I thought you were getting NG3 Razor's edge? all indications pointed to that version of the game getting ALL the content that was cut from the original NG3 game?
