SgtDawkins? Hmmm... that name sounds familiar.  I'm glad to see you made it man! Pixlbit is a great place. So many 1uppers made their way over here lol.

You cut out early from 1up, but nice to see where you landed.  Such a prolific poste over there- you keeping up the same level of output over here?

Uhhhh... yeah I forgot about that. That's a long story man. I never really left. My account got screwed up so I made a bunch of aliases. I don't post as much here, but I try to write retro reviews once a week if possible.

I've got a bunch of reviews that I've been holding onto, but I don't want to flood the market just yet.  I've also updated my RPG list, but I don't wanna bore everyone over here with that unless they want to be bored :)

Glad to hear it.  And glad that I finally have time to play a game!  Thus far, it's been Shantae, Dungeon Explorer II and Ni No Kuni.  But I'm going to go on a bender once I've graded finals.

Always great to have a fellow 1upper come on over cause most of us are ex 1uppers and like one big family and you being a rpg fan im excited to see what you got to blog about since im pretty much exclusively a 360,ps2 & ps gamer who loves retro as well im sure we will have much to talk about and as a freindly guesture im going to follow you so i can catch your first blog and again great to have you on board.

Much obliged.  I mostly write about role-playing games, and then mostly really old, obscure ones if I can swing it.  I blogged a pretty extensive top 100 RPG list last Summer that I may re-run over here if it doesn't annoy too many people. 

Always happy to chat with new friends.  Hopefully you'll enjoy some of my reviews when I post them later this month!

What system is Shantae on anyway? 

Gameboy Color.  It was a pretty neat game for its time.  In the Metroidvania mold- lots of hidden items and the like.  It had its problems, but it's probably one of the top ten Gameboy games of all time.  In my opinion, of course.  :)

You've found an awesome place to hang my friend, my sadness at the closure of 1 UP quickly left as I found this place, in-fact I'd say it's even more homely here, the guys at Pixlbit have done an amazing job!

Sup man, glad you made it.  Pixlbit has the same community feel as 1up, but more modern. They have really bent over backwards to make us all feel welcomed.  

All this is good news to me.  I've been game-starved this semester, but I'm looking forward to delving into some super-obscure older games.  Any suggestions?  I'll take a poll soon enough and see if anyone bites..... I've got about 1000 carts and cds sitting in my closet that I've never touched before.  The obsession knows no bounds.

Hello !  It's great to see that you're here at Pixlbit.  I'm sorry that I haven't been around all that much, and I'm sorry that my greeting is so late.  Ever since we left 1up I've run into a myriad of problems that have robbed me of my free time and ability to contribute to this site.  My situation has finally stabilized, though, and I can finally catch up on your posts.  I'll see you around!
