Unfortunately, I did not beat any games in October but that's because I put 40-something hours into Ys VIII. November should be a different story!

Games Bought

October was also a light acquisitions month. I picked up Piczle Cross: Rune Factory (Switch) because it was half off. Piczle Cross has been a quality series, so I'm excited to get to this game. My wife bought Cozy Grove (Switch), some sort of mildly spooky cozy not-quite-Animal-Crossing game. She's been playing and enjoying it, so that's a big win in my book! I also got all three PS+ games: Alan Wake II (I enjoyed playing the first game back in the day on the Xbox 60), Goat Simulator 3 (I assume this game is very silly), and Cocoon (which looked cool but now I can't remember what the game is about).

Games Being Played

-Ys VIII: Lacriomosa of Dana (Switch)

This game basically took up all my free gaming time and then some last month. I'm near the end and over 50 hours in (I've been doing everything). It's been a great game.

-River City Girls 2 (Switch)

My wife and I started playing this beat-'em-up the other day. It's been a while since we played something like this together, so it's been nice.

-Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak (Switch)

I think we will be moving on from this game soon. I have certainly had my fill of Monster Hunter for now.

-Picross: Lord of the Nazarick (Switch)

I hardly touched this game in October...because I was playing Ys VIII

-Destiny 2 (PS5)

I still have not finished the newest campaign...because I was playing Ys VIII
