The state stretches in front of them. Our group grows weary. Tempers on edge, nothing seems to be going right.

"Rochelle, following the aquaduct was really, really stupid," Nick says, "You are drawing us further away from everything we need to be around."

"Well Mr. I-am-never-wrong what would you suggest we do?"

"How about trying to find a town to replenish our supplies?" Ellis, growing tired of the arguing looks at both and says:

"Will you two stop the nonsense?"  Coach, who is already mad at both Rochelle and Ellis walks away and stares down the canyon at what appears to be an old mining town.

"Let us head to this town to see what may be there." With that the group decends into the remanants of what was a thriving gold rush town. Nick's eyes light up at the thought of lost riches that would now be discovered and kept by him. Ellis finds himself looking for anything he can convert into a weapon (maybe he is trying to get his country hick badge). Rochelle finds an actual working shower with hot water and Coach finds frozen hamburger and a grill for bbq. A scream sounds from the other end of the town and a Hunter attacks the group. Nick throws gold bars, Ellis throws a can of pork and beans, Rochelle throws a bar of soap, and Coach throws a spatula. When asked why he didn't throw a hamburger patty he said  "What waste good food?" When all else fails, they all draw their magnums and destroy the Hunter.  After the attack the four all look at one another, shake their heads, and bust into a galeful laughter when they realize what had just happened. The laughter was just what was needed as they tension broke and the group again was reunited. Which happened just in time as they would learn soon, as all hell was about to break loose.
