Whats up ya'll. Well despite the big release of Krieg the Psyco, I have yet to try him out and I may not for a little while. Just got my Zerker to Lv 50 and I want to take a break before I burn myself out on this game. I'm going to build a couple of mules and then I am taking a break till the next dlc comes out. So in the mean time I gotta figure out what I want to play. On the one hand I really need to tackle my PS2 backlog. I have some near completes and some new entries (Digital Devil Saga!) that want some attention. On that note just got a backup PS2 and memory card new off of Amazon. I know I paid to much ($123.00 and $13) but I made the mistake of not doing this years ago with the SNES and I have a little bit of money to play with so the hell with it.

On the other hand I have several Wii and PS3 games that have been sitting idle since I bought them. In particular Tales of Graces and Xenoblade, I'm over due for a JRPG fix. But then there is also Arkham City and Muramasa giving me the evil eye. And I'm not a multitasker, I'm not good at trying to play a couple of different games at the same time. That may seem counter intuitive because I'm a gemini, but if I don't focus on just one game I won't get anywhere with any of them. I may need to look into that backlog site some of you guys have mentioned.

Still having issues with pics of myself but if it comes to it I'll just post them on my facebook and give ya'll the link. I hardly use it anyway so this will give me an excuse to be more active there I guesse.

The last two weeks work wise have kicked my ass but its the middle of May so things usually start to mellow out a bit. Well I mentioned what I do on 1up though not in much detail, but not here at all I suppose. So I work in the family buisness my dad started up about 4 years ago. We take reclaimed wood from old houses here in New Orleans and put hand painted cast iron fittings on them. I should mention we do the hand painting. Mostly Fleur de lis, crawfish, mermaids, and alligators. And everything is funtional, it either has a hook or a bottle opener on it. And we sell them in the French Market. So thats how I earn my gil, gold and rupys, and I really enjoy what I do.

So thats my two bits for the day, I will still be posting any new Borderlands info I come across despite my hiatis, and reading up and commenting on everyone elses adventures as usual. Laters!

That's a pretty awesome day job. Maybe you could post a pic of one of those painted cast iron fittings.

I been having a bit of trouble posting pics on here so here is our website www.chiqueofarabi.com. The pictures we have up are just samples of what we do. And yeah Its not a bad day job at all. Its can be hard and dirty work sometimes but I get to be creative and make stuff so I can't complain.

How long have you been playing Borderlands 2? I hope to give that series another shot sometime. At least finish the first game. I wish I would have bought a backup PS2. I still can't believe they aren't making them anymore. That console lasted forever! If you do join the backloggery add me on multitap. We can stare at each other's hideous backlogs, and not feel so bad lol. Mine is horrible! 144 games to go! Embarassed

Well other than a short stop to play through the Mass Effect trillogy, I been playing it since it came out back in October. I just finished play through # 10, 5 characters 2 times each. And thats not counting all the time just hunting raid bosses online for legendaries. So yeah, Krieg can wait a little while.

As for the PS2 you can still find new ones on amazon, although they run anywhere from $125 to $250 which is just rediculous. When they did those small retro SNES just before they pulled them, I could have got one at walmart for $50. Honestly I really didn't have the money at the time but it still makes me kick myself.

I do beleive I will have to take the dive on backloggery, and I will deffinately add you. I have not actually done a tally of the games I got to finish or in some cases start, but I'm sure its more than I realize, lol.

If you have waited this long its probably worth it to get the GOTY version when it comes out. There is so much stuff to do, people are going to be playing this game for years.

I'm still on the last DLC for Borderlands 1.

Admittedly I did not finish the Jacobs Cove or Mad Moxxi DLC. Not a big fan of zombies, and the Underdome is tough as hell. Plus I have only done a single play through with Mordicai and Lilith. I know there is a game plus mode similar to the True Vault Hunter mode in BD2, scaled up enemies, and you start with all your loot and lv. Between that and giving Roland and Brick a go I still got a lot to do on both of these games.

I've done everything except for Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. I've done all the achievements so far as well. That Underdome DLC I did with a friend and it took a good long while. The last set of arenas took several hours each to complete and you can't stop in the middle.

Yeah the Backloggery is going to happen, I need to put a dent in this beast, lol. I don't want to take any chances on the PS2. I have more PS2 games and PS1 games than anything else so it only makes sense to me to get a new one if I can. I bought a used back up SNES years ago and it crapped out, yet my original still works, go figure.

I admire the dedication, I dare not look at my back log of PS2 games, it would add a seemingly endless load onto a somewhat already impossible feat!

Yeah before I got my PS3 it was kind of a comfort like " oh I got plenty of old games to keep me buissy till I get a PS3". Now a year later my PS3 has added to the backlog and not much has changed on the PS2 front, lol.

Backlog  is a big problem in my gaming room. I'm off this weekend and I'm taking on Bayonetta,Assassin's Creed 3,and Halo 4. About half way through on those. Still need to play some Borderlands 2. Your job sounds like you get to be sort of artistic in a way. New Orleans is one of the few major American cities I've not been to. May talk my wife into a trip there at some point this year. Is it a fun town to live in?

There is always something going on or something to do here. I just wish I had more time to enjoy it myself, Lol. I moved here the first time back in 87 when I was 9 from central TX. Been bouncing from there to here most  of my life. It has its share of problems, violent crime being the worst, but we have some incredible architecture, great live music scene, and some great museums.

I guesse what we do kind of falls under the label of folk art. I've done my fair share of 9 to 5's, hated them all . Not that I want to make a career out of this or anything, but for now I like it and I'm making a good living from it so I feel blessed.

Part of my back log problem is just settling on a game to play, its kind of over whelming , to much to choose from.
