Guilty Gear Xrd: Signs - First Trailer

After 10 years of waiting, a new, full-on sequel to GGXX is finally announced and on the way.

The director of the older games stated that they were planning on a next gen fighter, as they've always targeted the latest tech with their big new entries. They did that with the Dreamcast with Guilty Gear X, and the PS3/360 with Blazblue. Between that, the lack of announced platforms, and how something like this doesn't look like it could run on either console at 60fps, I think we may have just seen the first next-gen fighting game announcement. I'm fucking STOKED.

Also, Jyoji Nakata of Hellsing fame as Sol? I'm am SO down with that. If this is a next gen launch title (which I doubt :p), then my desire to get a next gen console early has just shot up dramatically.

I'm stoked for this too, I love GG, and I love my beat em ups! My PSP is the only gaming friend i ve had to nearly three months now (well that and my 3DS) waiting for my X Box to be shipped over (next week it finally arrives... yey!) and guilty gear judgement has taken some serious bashing from me in that time, I really can't wait for this!

Same here. I can't wait to get a crack at this myself--I really hope it comes out on PC, too.

I hope for new characters and old characters (Order Sol is my fav)

As a Street Fighter fan, I feel your pain--10 years of false starts and rumors, the consolation prizes of compilation sets. But I know it was even worse with the GG fans because Arc Systems didn't even have the rights to do anything new with the game for a while.
