E3 Expectations

So now that the Xbox is announced even though it was quite crumy and made the day kind of sour for some of us, lets try to talk about something exciting and positive! I know we all got E3 expectations, there are certain gams we wanna see more of or atleast announced. The next few days will be littered with videos from random game journalism sites, developers, and just plan bloggers that will continue to hype us. Not to mention, the PS4 console body will be shown June 10th!

My Expectations: Sony/PS4 wise

Uncharted 4- Im hopeing to see this series get its next console release and with the PS4 announced i think it is time for it to make its return! I have no clue where the adventure would take Mister Drake to but I def would like to see a new Uncharted game come to the works for the PS4.

Thief- I wanna def see more of this particular title. Last I heard it was in development hell but maybe they got their shit sorted and kept a team together finally to get this beast done. Ive loved everything I have seen and while Im a newbie to this series its still exciting.

The Evil Within- They have teased us only with a live action trailer and nothing more. Its really nerve wrecking too since the trailer its self draws you in to it. I think E3 will carry a lot of info for this title and im ready for that info, Im excited to see survival horror hopefully makeing a big come back.

Deep Down- While they havent fully given the actual name for the game the screenshot I saw on the playstation site is giving me a Dragons Dogma/Monster Hunter feel to it. I love Dragons Dogma and Monster Hunter is a pretty successul franchise so Im getting a good vibe for now.

Project Heart and Soul- When I read about this I got a Kingdoms of amaular feeling to it and since I love that game Im kind of getting excited for this. I wanna believe that E3 will give us a bigger glimpse of the title and its story.

My Expectations: Nintendo/Wii U& 3DS wise

Wii U- in general I jsut wanna the library grow some. Now are there some spefici games I wanna hear about, yes but Im really wanna see some big announcements for this console. I think it and the PS4 are gonna do well this year as long as Nintendo pushes more software for it.

Bayonetta 2- I love Bayonetta and while I was abit disappointed that the sequel is Wii u only at first, I think the Wii U needs this exclusive so Ill gladly be happy for it to have it. There hasnt been much released regarding it so E3 has to shed more light on ti!

Sonic Lost World- Nintendo and Sega's team up might become very beneficial for the Wii U and this might be one of the titles that helps it along. I got a feeling in the next Nintendo Direct is when this game will have more info released for it. I miss playing Sonic and I would love to see Sonic back in all its glory.

Untitled Legend Of Zelda- Yes, i want them to announce the next console Zelda. I wanna see how there gonna use the Wii U to full advantage to bring this game to the console. My bf doubts they will announce it just yet but I have some hopes for it. Even if it is just to announce it and not release much more then that.

Super Smash Bros- Now you should have seen this coming. Im totally ready for another smash bros game. While the Wii U verison might not be what I get first, I will be getting the 3DS one. I what I wanna see most of all? the characters -_-

Pokemon X&Y- I need more details about this game....Im dieing over here and October is taking its sweet time to get here. I wanna believe E3 will bring a plethora of info for it. I miss Pokemon :(

I'm really curious about the PS4 box design now. That and probably what the next gen of Japanese games will look like, or if they will even exist at all next gen. I want to see Versus XIII in some capacity, whether it be a video or screenshot or whatever. I want more Lightning Returns footage as well. I read rumors about Final Fantasy Type-0 being translated or having an HD port of some sort.

As for WiiU? I want a sequel to ZombiU and Mario Galaxy more than anything. News about a future Zelda or surprise about Metroid or Star Fox would be cool. New Smash Bros news is supposed to be incoming this Thurs. (speculation)

I really need to see what games are on XBOX and PS4 for that matter. None of that video nonesense, actual gameplay this time.

Versus news would be wonderful, I really wann know whats going on with the game. If its going to stay on the ps3 or if they decided to take it to the ps4. I heard good things about Type-O so a release here would be nice. I know Destiny showed gameplay in some of there vids for the PS4. It looks great to me so its on my buy list for 2014. I havent watched a lot of actual videos recently, more or less been reading articles I catch.

I'm just hoping more actual details come out at E3. Every detail I've heard about XBOX One sounds unappealing to me, but I want to know what these eight IPs are, and want to see actual games on these systems in action.

Im interested in the IP's, especially since a game franchise made by Rare years ago is making a comeback. I liked Rare because they gave me Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, and Donkey Kong Country. However Im still set to get the ps4 first and xobox one...oh idk maybe late 2014 or late 2015. Im in no rush for it, the series I like can wait on me.

I'm most excited about the new 3D mario. That's what I want most of all. And I want to know the launch games for the PS4.

I think we will see and know what all the launch games are at E3, so far a lot of games I noticed are releasing later in 2014 and thats fine but Im ready to know actual launch titles. Killzone and Assasssins Creed though are both on my buy list and while Kill is a confimed launch im still not sure about Assassins.

Wrll despite the crappy xbox announcement. I am curious as to what the Witcher 3 looks like and if theres any Rpgs or Strategy games coming to the One still think that names gay but im going to try and keep an open mind.

Well your being a lil bit more positive then me. I keep seeing stuff about it and I get more negative by the minute. What i am really hating is the whole used games fees. is ridiclous to make someone pay more for a game they buy whether its used or new. Once you buy it in either condition its urs and should be rightfully handled as urs.

Yea its almost as if there trying to move gaming to where you really dont own nothing, an example a system you cant play unless you have internet, cant play anything but new games and if you buy a used game by the time you buy the game, waste hard drive space to download it and pay to download it your better off just buying it new where at least you wont have a hard drive with tons of used games, to be honestim just going to hold off on ssystems and i may get a ps3 when and if the price drops.

When I was watching the COD: Ghosts rendering of a forest and underwater environment, I was wondering how great an RPG like Oblivion or Skyrim will look with those graphics. It makes me tingle all over thinking about it.

I'm still bitter that I was a denied a press pass to E3 after 15 years of attending, so if I write a blog about my favorite E3 news, I'll probably rant about that a bit, too.

Im right there with ya, Im hopeing with most of the hardware bullshit out of the way that this year can be centered on games.
