MCM: London Comic Con: 24th to 26th

Tomorrow I'm going to London's bi-yearly pop-culture event, it's from this Friday to Sunday and I'm taking my cousin on Sunday (Last year I took him to his first comic-con).

There'll be quite a few good things, apart from the usual you'd see at Comic-con i.e.

- Shops

- Retro gaming section

- film previews

- Fighting game section

- Art and comic section

- Bootleg Hentai...

 

We're getting a few good things such as...

Games

- First exclusive demo of Deadpool: the Game

- Remember Me Demo

- Lego Marvel Superheroes

- We're hosting the UK's largets Fighting game tournament (I won't be participating Undecided)

 

Guests

- Camilla Luddington (voice of current Lara croft)

- Mark Meer (Commander Shepard)

- Shinchiro Watanabe (The director of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo)

 

There's a few cool comic Writers and Artists coming too, so I have 3 days to have my haul signed.

Must be nice, you know me being from Texas in the US it might be difficult to go, but if i hit the lotto tonight count me there lol.by the way thats one crazy video lol you brits know how to do it lol.

The guy who did that vid does Mac and PC parody with Marvel and DC, great sense of humour.

The UK is a nice little island sometimes, but the thing is we have easy and fast means to travel but it cost to much, the trains are heinous!Yell

Umm... Lee, I'm pretty sure that video creator is American. Or maybe not. It's just some random guy. Tongue Out Also, Srewattack Gaming Convention is in Dallas, so you can go with me there. lol

Sounds like a good time though. I've never been to a con before. And Bebop director is cool to have.

you should really go to one, sure they're over crowded, noisy, hot as hell and you have to be nearer to people... It's fun ¬.¬

There's things there you rarely see, play games with other likeminded people, trade stuff anyone in our chunk of nerd spectrum should have the experience, at any age.

Hope security at the event won't be too overpower given the recent incident that happened over there just a few days ago. :(

Only at bus and train stations, the authorities are actually being rather "controlled" given the gravity what happened. But I suppose they don't wish to ruffle more feather, so to speak.
