favorite PS1 rpg's? all of them! They're my favorite types of games. IN fact, someday I'm going to develop a Ps1 style RPG, complete with low polygon models!

omg, want want want want WANT. I made one in the original RPG Maker once, but it was so full of inside jokes and idioms that it was practically unplayable. xD

Great games and that Thousand Arms is worth alot of money depending on condition its one of the most expensive ps games out there dont beleive me look it up on Amazon.and my all time favorite is a srpg Tactics Ogre best game ever made in my opinion but all of thoughs you got are awesome.

I am with matt, I really can not choose just one. I am on the look out for Star Ocean right now offline. I see copies online, but I want to hold it and inspect it before I buy it.

Gawd! I can't do favorites! Alright, off the top of my head I'd have to say Lunar Silver Star Story & Eternal Blue, Final Fantasy VII & IX, Alundra, Suikoden 1&2, Breath of Fire 3, and Grandia.

Still kicking myself for not keeping my copy of Saga Frontier. Gonna have to track some of these down.

Yeah, too many good PS1 RPGs. I could however narrow it down to most of Squaresoft's titles. I have heard of all these games you mention here and was even somewhat interested in them at a certain point in time. Unfortunately, I've yet to play one of them.

I must check if any of the Jade Cocoon games are on PSN. I need something to play on my Vita and didn't have a chance to grab it on the ps1.

My favourite ps1 rpg is probably FF7 but that isn't exactly original....

You pretty much touched on most of the RGP's I want to grab for the PS1. still researching though if these games can be found on PSN or on the PSP/PSVita like Star Ocean.

the main reason I bought all of them as discs was to remote play them through my vita since they weren't on PSN sadly. ;_;
