Firstly, this blog is not really about anything, it is a rant, and it will contain quite a bit of naughty language. If you don't like that, that's fine, you should probably not read my blogs anyway, because I'm an immature douche who likes the word 'fuck' for some reason. I don't know why. It just somes things up perfectly, or adds a bit of emphasis another word wouldn't be able to. Secondly, it's 5 am and I haven't slept yet, because Assignments, thou art a heartless bitch. So this will probably be an incoherent mess of words that mean nothing. Much like this opening paragraph. Anyways, rant activate!

Fuck youtube. Seriously. Why the fuck can't I reply to comments? Why can't I click the show more button? Why can't I enlarge the video? YOU'RE ASSOCIATED WITH GOOGLE! YOU HAVE MORE MONEY THAN GOD, WHY THE FUCK CAN'T YOU FIX THESE SHITTY PROBLEMS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HAVING SINCE 2008?!?!?!?!?!?!?! You just like taunting me. Is it because I got downvoted too much? Is that what it is? One comment about Skyrim not being the greatest game ever and all of a sudden you can't post anymore? THIS IS FUCKING YOUTUBE! People downvote you for THE PETTIEST SHIT! People mark you as spam to censor things they don't like! That's got to stop too. Marking people as spam simply because you don't like their comment is juvenile. If you mark people as spam on forums because they disagree with you, throw yourself off a fucking building, because you're a miserable, selfish cunt who will never accomplish anything and would be better off as fertiliser!

Back to youtube. FIX THIS PLEASE!!! I know posting this on a gaming blog won't accomplish anything, and this is just venting in it's purest form, but FOR FUCK'S SAKE! Almost everyone on earth uses this service, stop being lazy cock's and BETTER YOUR SERVICE! I'd like to note that this only happens if you have a google plus account. If I delete that, I can do everything like before. However, youtube doesn't like you not having a google+ account and forces you to make one to continue using it. This is fucking RETARDED!

Here's the thing. I'm actually planning on making some videos on youtube. As a hobby, but maybe something will blossom out of it, you never know. So, I'm saving up to get a decent camera, a webcam, and a decent microphone, as well as a good screen capturing program so I can make videos about gaming. I'm not going to do a lets play, as they are really overdone, and kind of pointless. I mean, these are games. The mean reason they exist is to be played, much to Hideo Kojima's dismay. So why would I sit down and watch some 13 year old kid play Skyrim for 130 videos when I can play the damn game myself? These are games. Not movies. I understand the appeal if it's a group of people, because you're relying more on comedy and group dynamics, but straight let's plays? They're a bit shit. I'd like to do something more along the lines of informative game discussion with a bit of humour. However, I can't do this if Youtube is such a goddamn mess.

Anyway, that's out of my system. Everyone needs to play Dust: An Elysian Tail because it is bloody fantastic. It's one of the best pc ports of an XBLA game I've ever seen, and it's just an absolute masterpiece of 2D platforming/brawling/rpg goodness. Seriously, whether on PC or consoles buy this game. It is amazing.

Also, Ultima VII complete edition is 6 bucks on GOG. Goodbye life.

Yea i agree YouTube is a mess and they have the comment section ummmm for comments and if get blocked for a comment and im not talking about cussing them out,racial,etc purely comment and the dont like it they block you so instead of putting comments under the video they should put what the user wants to hear lol

It's a ridiculously stupid system that is compounded by the fact that damn near everyone who comments on youtube is a socially inept moron who can't handle the notion that other people don't think like them. If you wish to use the word "fuck"..

Why the fuck can't I edit my responses and why the fuck doesn't Comment Snob work with Google Chrome.?

I really don't like reading the comments to popular videos as they are full of content that I'd not much like to read. I think Google Chrome is disallowing its use simply because Google owns YouTube. At least on DailyMotion I can edit a comment and I have 1000 characters.

As long as YouTube is wildly popular with the kids, no point to fix it. I just wish there was competition for it from the U.S. I prefer DailyMotion but it's too European-minded despite the fact that tons of copyrighted material are safe there.

Popular videos I don't bother with, but sometimes I see a girl with like 400 views who put out some really good content and some douche is telling her to get the fuck off the internet because she's not attractive, or can't talk about geek culture or analyse anything because her tits will get in the road, and I kind of A) want to verbally abuse the shit out of that pile of human dross, and B) give some encouragement and let the user know that their content isn't completely taken for granted.

I don't mind youtube, I just wish they'd fix some of the problems with it.

Yeah, the spam thing is kind of ridiculous. I disliked a comment there once, and it said it hid the comment because of too many downvotes. I didn't want the damn thing hidden from the public, I just didn't like it.

Also, there needs to be a "show comment thread" button, so my pointless adventures into bicker reading can be made easy.

Well, you would probably rule youtube gaming videos if you ever did a blogcast thing. I would imagine they would go something like the escapist magazine "zero punctuation" videos.

I don't know about ruling them. Yahtzee is one of the inspirations for my humour but I wouldn't do reviews. Maybe. Idk. I wouldn't want to copy yahtzee regardless, because I doubt I could beat him. Also, my voice isn't anywhere near as glorious as his!

YouTube can kiss my ass if they think I'm getting a Google+ account. Who needs it? There are a lot of shenanigans on the site since Google bought it. I really watch my comments on there because little douches and turds get so bent out of shape. I don't even criticize bronies! And they are a bunch of weirdos. People are way too sensitive on YouTube. They think because they like something that everyone on the planet does too.

People are way too sensative everywhere, about everything. If you say something even remotely controversial people mark you as spam so they can censor you, as opposed to having a rational argument.
