Pre-Ordering

Years ago, I pre-ordered a game for the PSP, Death Jr. I order the special edition that was supposed to come with all this neat stuff.

Problem was, it never shipped to Canada, so I had to buy the plain version instead. Worse problem was, the game poorly designed to play on the PSP. You need a bigger view of the world, and the camera was just right over your shoulder pointing down.

Anyways, I am looking to pre-order the Injustice: Gods Among Us game, but i can't decide to get the Collector's Edition or the Battle Edition.

The Collectors Edition sounds pretty good, and is $100 bucks and comes with a statue, and a bunch of extras.

  • Special Collector's Edition of a brand new DC Comics series
  • Digital download of DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom
  • Three exclusive skins based on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from DC COMICS - THE NEW 52

And the Battle Edition is $150, but comes with an Arcade Stick and barely any extras.

But, that Injusitce Fight Stick looks like its on a flimsy base of mold foam. I would be more inclined towards the Battle if it came with the same extras as the Collector's.

Quite impressive! I personally got the Mortal Kombat fighting stick, just for my nostalgia sake! but the Injustice one looks amazing in terms of the artwork!

That statue looks pretty bad ass. I'm looking forward to this game as well. I don't know much about it, but the trailer I saw looked amazing. I think I was one of the few people who actually liked MK Vs DC Universe lol.

The statue is quite nice, and pretty big. 13"

But you gotta wonder if they include all of this stuff cause they know the game with be crap and all of this will take the sting off a bit.

Is the stick made by MadCatz? They've been doing great arcade sticks since SF IV, so that would be worth it. Otherwise, I think it boils down to your gaming budget. Although I look at my unused MK 9 bookends and wonder why I spent 100 bucks on it.

Yea, My brother buys all sorts of Collectors Editions and all that stuff id just laying about.

The stick is made by Performance Designed Products, who made the MK 9 stick.

Have you searched around for reviews (even on Youtube) on the MK9 stick?

I would personally go for the statue, but I already have the Street Fighter Tournament Edition for the PS3.

If you're looking for something to collect, I think the collector's edition is the better buy, what with the statue. I would assume the fight stick is probably going to be available sold separately. Even if it isn't, the collector's edition has more collectibles, and you'd be better off owning a fight stick that already has a reputation of being a solid controller.

No one carries the acrade sticks here. No one buys them.
