Yeah, being on duty sucks, I remember that. Although I'm certain we're talking about two completely different jobs. lol
As for 3DTV, I am currently living at home, where the TV is standard def, so ... yeah, I have no idea.

I just bought a new 2013 TV from LG. It is a 50" inch 3D Cinema Smart LED TV. The first HDtv was a 42" inch Samsung Plasma, then a 46" inch Samsung LCD and now another South Korean TV. It is beautiful and I finally set up a surround sound system in wife and I's room. When my little girl is old enough to sleep with her sister, I will conform that room into something cool. This tv is the major start!
Now with that said, it displays 3D. I am going back to play through some 3D capable games and seeing how they look. I now plan to buy a few Blu-ray 3D movies. I have more games than I though that are 3D capable such as the Sly Cooper Collection, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, and many others. I played only a bit of Uncharted 3 and it seems ok but I think I am too early to be impacted by it.
What is also interesting is this tv can do the split screen via glasses where you still keep the whole image to yourself. I was interested in seeing how it worked and thought it was something only on Sony's 3D TV that they sold as a gamer's tv. As for the exterior of the tv, it looks really nice by having small borders. My other two tvs have thick ones. It really makes them look unattractive in comparison.
I have duty tomorrow which sucks. I want to just sit and use the tv all day. Now do you all own a 3D tv? If so what movies or games do you recommend playing in 3D?
I saw a boxing match in 3D at bestbuy once and thought it looked pretty cool. What ever happened to the 3D sports channels? Weren't stadiums outfitted with 3D cameras at one point? I don't own a 3D TV. Maybe during Christmas time. I think I read that one of the Batman games was really amazing in 3D, not sure which one though.
It does seem to be taking 3D tv a long time to become mainstream and that is expected. I am sure the 3D Sports channels probably still exist. I heard great things about the batman game. I haven't played any games yet in 3D. I tried but I need the faster HDMI cable. I have though seen some shows streamed through the tv in 3D. It is pretty impressive!
