I'm Brittany, aka "GamerGirlBritt". I'm a 17 year old student/pharmacy technician, and I just moved here from the recently dissipated 1UP.com, to find that I'm liking this place A LOT. This June would have been my 1 year anniversary at 1UP, but sadly these things don't always pan out as expected. Even though I'd only been there a menial amount of time compared to my other comrades, I managed to find my own little niche rather quickly, and developed some connections with some truly interesting people.

I've saved all of my blogs from 1UP, but won't see a need in reposting the majority of them, since I'll be the first to admit my writing started off a little....abrasive. My fellow 1UP-ians can attest to this fact. But, I have grown, and I'm looking forward to sharing my writing here on pixlbit.

Same here! I didn't know what to do with myself when I learned of 1UP's closing. But the family that games together, stays together.

Good to see another refugee join us. DId you know that they added the follow system last night for our benefit? Pretty cool, if you ask me!

I know what you mean about early blogs, I'm in the process of backing up my eight years' worth of blog entries. I started from the earliest ones, and boy do some of them stink, lol.

When I was backing up my blogs I had the displeasure of actually reading them....I had to ask myself, "did I seriously write that?!" I should have saved myself the embarassment and deleted them lol.
