I never heard of these guys before, but listening to the vids you posted, I dig 'em. Not sure how I feel about the vocal work though to be honest, but the music itself it tight! I'll have to check out the rest of the album online (I love GrooveShark) before I make a full judgement though.

I know you have heard of Accept... Right? UDO was the lead singer.

I love Accept. I didn't know that Udo had formed another band. I'm really out of touch since I mostly listen to the same stuff over and over endlessly lol. So thanks for the heads up Larry. I'm definitely checking these dudes out.

No problem Aaron. I loved Accept with UDO, but now this is his band and he is still awesome.

metal bands have the best album covers.  especially compared to that flowery crap most other artists have.

Udo is the man! Love that guy and all that he's done for metal. Accept is just not the same without him in it. They are a fine band and all,but it is totally different from what they were back then. There is only one Udo,no one out there quite like him. His vocals are truly metal to it's core. This band he has formed is fantastic,great sound on these songs.

I've been listening to this song a ton while I play Minecraft. I honestly don't really like much technical rock and metal, it often gets TOO complicated and talented for me most of the time. The songs Persefone writes tend to make sense to me though and yes they are very technical and complex but somehow they manage to have great rhythm and melody. Their older album Shin Ken is amazing and has a lot of instrumental stuff, pianos, clean vocals, and Japanese inspired stuff like the song Japanese Poem, or all their stuff like Water Book, Fire Book, Ground Book, etc which I really enjoy.

This album definitely takes it up a notch in technical prowess and skill compared to Shin Ken I think. There's some really amazing melodies and common threads found in a lot of the songs and the album kind of carries a theme in some of the guitar parts. I like a lot of the songs but this one might be my favorite so I wanted to share it. I love the endings, outros, interludes and stuff. I'm not sure if this particular video has the outro I'm thinking of but it might. There's really cool guitar outro stuff that they do in a lot of the songs on this album and they have this common sound to them.
