I haven't blogged since...May. My appologies for being a no show for awhile again, it has been really busy work wise and my brain function at night has been to just rest and play DS. Also I haven't really had a weekend to myself per say yet...this weekend I probably still won't get much me time as well.  So what has been happening?!

Personal life...work stinks, but I get paid and I am being kept busy. I just wish it was not as busy as it has been. Went up to Mass for 2 weekends in a row, first was to visit Cory for Memorial Day Weekend, then this past weekend went to see him again becase of a friends grad party from college. I am driven out..but this weekend need to do random car things and things around the house. Also, Cory and I have made progress in starting the move in phase of our lives! We found the apartment we want to move into...next step is visiting it and then praying they have an opening. We don't want to move in this month so we figured we are going to wait till closer to the end of June to go see it and all that fun stuff.

Also been keeping up with the workout program! I lost 6 pounds but memorial day weekend I gained a pound back from being at Cory's house since there was...a lot of food. But I am just happy to see results! I am starting up again this week since last week I didn't have much time to work out and I have missed 2 weekends worth. So gonna pick it up again today and get back in the groove of things.

Anyways onto the other fun stuff happening! Last weekend I brought my DS with me to Cory's house and I couldn't decide on what to play but I finally landed on Dragon Quest 6. It has taken me about a week to get very close to nearing the end of the game. My thoughts so far on it are it's okay. This is not one of my favorite DQ stories, at first I was actually a bit confused till they finally explained what was happening. Right now the story seems to be in a lul. I  thought the first boss that I went after was the main bad dude or at least had someone controlling him. As I go through the game it doesn't really explain who it is or why this is happening. I can only assume it is due to world domination. You get 4 main characters and some other characters along the way but I have only used the 4 main ones. Yeah so it's a very confusing story that seems to have things going on all over. It's still fun to play though do not get me wrong; just wish the story was more put together. Right now I am collecting the legendary equipment and then will be figuring out where to go next after that.

My next endevor since my brother finally finished getting things off his external, I am upgrading my PS3 HDD so I can get everything downloaded and can finally hold all my save data! I also finally got a complete list of my games and of Cory's games and there is a lot. I wrote it all down in a notebook so I am thinking about eventually transfering it over into a Word document.

I also started up some anime shows as well 2 shows I am watching at the moment are Magestic Prince which is actually better than I thought. It's a Mech based anime. Then the other show I started is called Midori Days and it's pretty funny. A deliquent wants a girlfriend but everyone is afraid of him...he then suddenly gets a girl on his right hand and she turns out to have had a crush on him for a long time.

Other than this nothin new to report! Hope everyone has a fab Monday and hopefully my days become a little less busy!

sounds like you've been busy. I've always felt drawn to DQ6 but haven't had the chance to play it yet.  Sounds like it's just okay.

glad you lost weight!  I wish I could.  I'm lazy.  Tongue Out

DQ6 is a fun play but it doesn't really have the oomph like the other games give me.

Also thanks! It's not easy losing the weight...I at times feel like I want to return to my lazy ways haha but I kick myself into gear again.

Well it's good to know you didn't die out on me! I've been wondering where you've been for the past couple of weeks!

Sounds busy and hectic, but at least you've been able to spend quality time with Cory! Hopefully everything works out and the apartment you like has an opening. Fingers crossed!!

Wow there's a lot going on. I hope there is an open spot so you two can have an awesome place and what sounds like it's going to be filled with a lot of good games.

Indeed it will be! And thanks! From what the site says that there are a few openings, we just need to look at the place first just to see it in person and get that YES feeling. Just hoping the openings stay through till end of July.

Congrats on the upcoming move! It's so nice having your own place. Be careful when you take your hard drive out of your PS3. It's an easy process, but those little tiny screws that hold it in place strip easily. I had stripped one and thought I was screwed. Sorry... that was lame lol. Embarassed

Congrats on the weight loss!

If you want to play a good Dragon Quest game on the DS, try Rocket Slime!  It's my favorite!

Thank you!

And yes I have heard about it and it's a future game purchase for myself eventually.

Well, you've blogged since I have, I hadn't blogged since the end of April! Congrats on impending move-in. Set up ground rules before you move in together, wish Jason and I had done that. And yeah, DQ VI wasn't my favorite, either, but it's DQ, so it's not bad.

Cory andd I are pretty much the same with a few things but we have talked about a lot of stuff before hand already so we both gave each other an idea of what we are each expecting.

And I am glad to not be the only one who feels that way about DQ6! GRanted I am thinking it's not too bad cause it's DQ but I wish the story would have more of a punch for me.

I actually hope my days get more busy, but just not in door-to-door sales. Warehouse or clerk work is more my speed I think, or I can go back to waiting tables. Too much can drive you mad, though. Where do you work again?

Congrats on the weight loss! And every once in a while gaining a pound back is actually good. Means you're on a consistent path.

I am a software consultant at a company called Provenir. Most of the time I work from home so it's not bad but we are starting up phase 2 of the project and all these phone meetings start to get to you after awhile.

Thank you! It's really not easy watching the calories I take in because I have been counting them to try to help at least lose a pound a week. Sometimes I see sweets and think I want that entire thing haha.

Moo! Busy times for a busy life. Thanks for the PS3 HD reminder. I need to do that too before I go DL crazy on demos and game offerings.
