I was looking online at some of the different Star Wars games and its so funny how its changed over the years, now heres a pic of the Atari 2600s Empire Strikes Back.

It looks like very little fun but i remember when it came out and played it and i was so amazed at how fun and great looking this game was, and it was an action side scroller common for the time. So then came the NES version of Star Wars.

Some people say the NES version was the best ever made and although i absolutely loved it, its not the best, but i would love to own it though.

The Super Nintendo version of Star Wars was a master peice for the time, i spent weeks on end playing this and for the record back in 1977 when Star Wars first came out i was standing in a mile and a half ( no joke ) line, and was hands down the best movie i have ever seen, no other movie has ever came close and the closest one i could think of would be the release of Clash of the Titans. So now it came to the PS2  & Xbox.

This was about as good as it got on the PS2 and although good it wasnt shit compared to what the Xbox relesed.

So Xbox came out with KoToR 1 & 2 wich in my opinion is the best Star Wars games to hit any console bar none i mean due to the fact i was a Sony guy i missed out on these and seven years after the release there still the best i have ever played. So then theres The Force Unleashed although nothing even close to KoToR 1 or 2 but the Force Unleashed 1 & 2 are good games that deserve praise, so now that Lucas Arts is no more and Disney ownes the franchise it will be very interesting to see what happens.

I have the trilogy of Star Wars games on SNES. I think the only one I managed to finish was Empire Strikes Back. Those games are great though. They sound really good for SNES standards.

I couldn't get through the NES version when I was a kid.  IT was hard!

Super Star Wars is hard too.  But I never owned a SNES.  Those are really cool games though.

KOTOR is the bomb though.

I have Ep III on the GBA. I beat it the day I started playing it. I had AT and wanted the game to take to the field with me. I thought it would last longer than it did.

This blog,so many good memories! Ironically, I don't think I ever played a Star Wars game I didn't like.

Rogue Squadron and Battlefront games were pretty good too. KOTOR is awesome though.

Favorite I've played would be Rogue Squadron II, least favorite Shadows of the Empire, so why's the one I like less the one I own?

The Super Star Wars games on the SNES are great.  They were the best Star Wars games I ever played until I played Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (N64) and then came Knights of the Old Republic released on the PC and XB, which blew my freaking mind.  Awesome games.  The Force Unleashed games are pretty good.  They're not great, but I had a hell of a time playing with those force powers and the story is entertaining.  They don't fit well in Star Wars lore, but they are a great "What If" story and still way better than the bullshit Lucas came up with.Laughing

You should check out the Star Wars Retrospective on Gamertrailers.com.  It's long and very informative.  They cover most of the Star Wars games.

Yeah, TFU2 isn't as good and short, but I still enjoyed it.
