Well Dave and his wild bunch have released another album. I have followed these guy from line up change after line up change album to album. Although some of their albums were a miss with me I never gave up on them like I have Metallica. I can not even begin to tell you how pleased I am Megadeth never stopped doing their thing like Metallica did.

So without further here is my thoughts on the album. First off there is a song on the album with Banjo. A friend of mine said he always wanted to do metal with a Banjo, so once I heard the song I IM'd him. LOL. He said he could be rich if he had done it. It is a old bluegrass song done  Megadeth style. I am still not sure anbout it, I need to give it a couple of more listens.

MEGADETH : SUPER COLLIDER TRACK LIST.

1. KINGMAKER

2. SUPER COLLIDER

3. BURN!

4. BUILT FOR WAR

5. OFF THE EDGE

6. DANCE IN THE RAIN

7. BEGINNING OF SORROW

8. THE BLACKEST CROW

9. FORGET TO REMEMBER

10. DON'T TURN YOUR BACK

11. COLD SWEAT

Now for my thoughts and favorite song on this album. Forget to Remember is my favorite song on the album. It reminds me of the So Far, So Good, So What, Album. Which I think was an underrated album, but any way. This is a good album all around and I am glad MEGADETH are still doing their thing. With that said I give this album.

4 \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ out of five.

Now my METAL HEADS! GO FORTH AND METAL!

I really like So Far too although my favorite Megadeth album is Peace Sells. I never thought I'd hear a banjo in a Megadeth song lol. I saw Megadeth twice and they were great both times.

Peace Sells is really good too. I think it is the one that put them on the Map.

My favorite of theirs would be Rust in Peace, Friedman was a beast on that one, and everything had a fast, interesting hook.

I actually like all of Metallica's albums, but I understand why people wish they would have stuck with what they started out with. Reload is my least favorite in their case, but I own all of them.

I'm actually liking a lot of these songs here, though. They seem to have regained some focus after just going for speed with Endgame, and they're using Broderick for much more interesting solos here in my opinion (I was kind of disappointed after seeing Broderick's  "Bet You Can't Do This" and then Endgame all he got to do was go fast); not just going for speed, but also not going for Countdown to Extinction tempos either, just some good gallopy metal.

This might be my first pick up from them since United Abominations. I liked the Draiman guest verse on "Dance in the Rain," too. Good review.

Thanks for stopping by. I just got completely frustrated with Metallica after Saint Anger. I mean really? Then the Lou Reed album is terrible. I hope they can do better on the next album.

Yeah, but at least we solved the mystery of what happened to Hetfield's growl with that Lou Reed/German play/whatever-that-was ... he turned into a table. Frankly, with that in mind, I'm impressed. lol That one I do not own.

Just heard the first two songs. Pretty nice.

I haven't heard much of Megadeth in a while, but I used to be a big fan about two years ago and I own Rust in Peace, which I think is really good.

I have always loved this band. Even though Mustaine has gotten a bit wacky with his right-wing preaching,he's still a damn fine musician. The guy has paid his dues and deserves to be recognized for true talent. Sounds like they are carrying on superbly with this album.
