Pretty sure you posted this a few times at 1up actually.
1up Vault: Characters I want to see in the Next Smash Bros.

This is more of a blog repost of a blog I had at 1up. I could of done a new one but I would of had the same characters in it anyway. Note that it has been edited a bit and I have added more characters this time. Plus just in time for E3 too. This time I'm writing about which characters I want to see as playable fighters in the next games. It'll be kinda like a wishlist, so Ready...Go!
Megaman/X: I think it isn't fair that they went with Sonic over Megaman, I mean MM has been with Nintendo since nearly the begining of the NES. Plus the point of selecting the fighters from Smash is that they must have a history with Nintendo aka games being on their hardware, which is why we got Snake. I mean it just makes sense putting Megaman in Smash Bros, all his basic moveset works for specials, he could be almost like Samus, plus it could be neat if you could get your opponents powers if you defeat them. And his Final Smash could be the Giga Attack or whatever super duper hyper move he has now. I'd prefer X but classic Megaman is fine, plus it'll please Megaman fans too.
Travis Touchdown: He was on the Wii with 2 games so he actually has a chance of showing up here. And he might not since NMH's is rated M but MGS was basically the same rating and Snake showed up so there might be a chance that Travis can duel with Link. I mean why not? Also, I never noticed it but he does kinda look like Captain N.
Simon Belmont: At this point you're thinking that I just want the Captain N Team here, and no, well maybe (more on that later on.) Konami put Snake in, and I don't see how they couldn't put Simon as a fighter, regardless if Snake will be back or not. I'm so out of touch with this series but they could make his specials with whatever it was that he does.Plus seeing how the series sees success on Nintendo platforms more than any other.
Goku: I mean why not? Nanmco Bandai makes the DBZ games, and they are working on the next round of Smash Bros. so why not? And alot of rumors point to Goku being in the game. The problem will be that he will be so overpowered. But then again Ganondorf is supposed to be super strong and well, look how that turned out. For his specials, I can see him turning into a Super Sayan and he'll turn back to normal as time passes. His final move could go either way, having him use a Spirit Bomb or having him to a Kamehameha like the Zero Laser Samus does.
Sonic and Tails: They might or might not put Sonic again but I wonder if he's the only character who will be playable? If they don't want to waste another slot on another Sonic character they might as well do this: You have both Sonic and Tails like the Ice Climbers, but you could switch like Pokemon Trainer. You could have Tails follow you like in Sonic 2, that would be some pretty cool nostalgia moment there but if you dont want to use Sonic (me neither) then you could switch to Tails and fight. They could even have tag team attacks or something like if Sonic is going to fall, Tails comes to his aid and helps him fly like in that picture.
Snake: The Soldier of Fortune was a playable fighter in Brawl and that was pretty awesome. Sure there haven't been too many appearances from Snake on Nintendo consoles but his first 8-Bit game was on the NES. Will we be seeing again in Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U? Not sure but if we see a hint of a cardboard box, then you can be he snuck in the game.
Someone from Tekken: Since Namco Bandai is helping Sakurai, why not have a fighter from Namco's fighting game in Nintendo's fighting game? The question is who? I mean I'm a stranger to these games, which means I never played any of them. I am familiar with Christie Monteiro though.
Majora's Mask Link: Since Melee we've had 2 Link's as fighters. Melee was Young and Adult Link, in Brawl it was Twilight and Windwaker Link and I know the next one will probably have Skyward Link. But will there be another Link? There might and the only other version left would be Majora's Mask Link but you're saying "But Captain, he'll be the exact same thing as in Melee!" You're right but here's how it can work, you have him transform into his other mask forms like switching pokemon with Pokemon Trainer by pressing Down B. You could switch between Deku, Goron, and Zora Link. But that leaves one form out right? Well Link's Final Smash could be Fierce Deity Link. As much as I would to see Fierce Deity Link playable, I don't think they'll have 3 Link's so the only other option is for him to be a Final Smash form but complete with all his moveset and powers.
Pac-Man: I bet you're wondering how will Pac-man even fit in, let alone fight in Smash Bros. Well if you just shut up I might tell you. Namco-Bandai are working on the next Smash Bros and no doubt they might have someone from Tekken and/or Soul Calibur as fighters but why not take this opportunity to put Pac-man into the fray? His moveset will consist of every move (well the important ones) he had on the Pac-Man World games and his Final Smash could be a Power Pellet, he eats it and all the fighters who aren't called Pac-man turn into Blue Ghosts, if Pac-man chomps you then it's a one hit K.O. like the baseball bat or Light Arrows.
Lyn: Fire Emblem Awakening released this year so the next logical step is for Smash Bros to add a fighter from there. Well I think it might be wise to have more female fighters, since we only have Peach, Samus, Zelda, and Jigglypuff. We know Marth will be in the game, but how about Lyn? She was awesome as an assist trophy, imagine as a fighter?
Someone from Platinum Games: Seeing as how some Platinum... um.... Games are exclusive to the Wii U this year, it would make a bit of sense to have a character from PG to be a playable fighter. Question is who? I haven't played any of their games, so I will leave that choice up to any of you.
Rosalina: She hasn't had amny game appearances as a playable character outside Mario Kart. I'd love to see her as a fighter though. Alot of you that know me knows how much I like her (aside from Samus). If she isn't a playable fighter, she could atleast be a cameo in a Super Mario Galaxy level, or an assist trophy.
Wreck-It Ralph: I bet you're thinking "You're fucking crazy." Just stop and I'm not crazy (okay maybe a little.) Ralph is going to be a playable character character in Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed so why not? I still have no idea what his moveset would be but I bet his Final Smash would be him turning into the 8-bit version of himself and saying "I'm gonna Wreck it!" That would be awesome.
Non Specific Action Figure: You might say I'm crazy that they'll put an action figure as a fighter? Well why not? He deserves his own game, or if Nintendo hasn't abandoned the series, atleast put him in a new Chibi-Robo game.
Batman: Batman has been on Nintendo consoles before you say anything. Plus Arkham City is on the Wii U so maybe, just maybe they'll have the goddamned Batman as a playable fighter. I mean 2 Batman games are coming for Nintendo platforms this year so why not? Also if Snake is in the game, we can see who would win. I know Snake is awesome, but I'd have to vote for the Goddamn Batman.
Captain N: Now you're thinking that I completly lost my mind. Just hear me out for a moment, it would make sense having him as a playable fighter, I mean why not? Both the comic and cartoon was Smash Bros before Smash Bros was even a thing, you basically had the same concept. This would be a dream cometrue right here, I'd so use Captain N all the time if he was a playable fighter. He could be all around, or IDK, just make him awesome.
So those are the characters I want to see in the next Smash Bros, who would you like to see? I was going to put Banjo and Kazooie but we know that wont happen. Next blog will be characters I would love to see in Smash Bros if it was possible. So thanks for reading and later.
