There's zero justification for me to ever get an Xone now. None whatsoever.

MS can only bring me on board by doing a complete about face immediately along side a big price cut, and I know that's not gonna happen.

It's amazing how excited I am over corporate speak, but it seriously feels like the Rebel fleet destroying the Death Star. This is coming from someone who, if anything, has a very very casual connection to Star Wars, but that's the perfect metaphor for how it feels.

Sony just made the Xbone its bitch.

The victory was total and absolute. 

I know,it's gonna be incredibly tough for Microsoft to spin this. They had their asses handed to them tonight. Sony beat them on every front,but the used games issue was the biggest one of all.  They sold me,I decided I'm getting a PS4 first. Might wait until tax return time to buy a XBOX One.

I suspect that Redmond is full of dread and anxiety tonight, to put it lightly.

I'm pretty sure Steve Ballmer is sweating profusely at the prospect of having to face his shareholders.

Sony completely rewrote the entire framework of the next-gen console war in something like 3 minutes. MS has a monumental recovery effort in front of it.

The whole used game issue was neevr a big rpoblem for me, so it was everything else that sony announced that sold me on a ps4.  The only thing that sucks is the online multiplayer.  Since you need PS+ to play online, but unless I am mistaken PS+ is leaps and bounds above XBL gold.

Yeah, that part sucks. I love PS+, but having to pay for multiplayer now is kind of "eh". It was the only bad part of an otherwise great conference.

if the gaikai deal is tied into the PS+ then I think that it will be completely worth it.

That video was a thing of beauty. Sony restored my faith in the future of the gaming industry in a mere 2 minutes and 20 seconds. I'm still curious to see how the Xbone does sales wise once the systems actually launch.

While the core is clearly pleased, I don't know how many people getting consoles at Christmastime follow all this stuff. It's hard to say how big a factor this will be sales wise--the $100 price difference may end up being more important. 

I still don't know if i'll ever get a PS4, but I just couldn't stop smiling when everyone in the conference was cheering at the great news.
