Xbox 360 New Model Released today: $199 or $299

Although I'm not really sure why they released a new 360 model, but hey, whatever floats their boat. What I did think was cool was the fact that starting next month, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download two free games per month, starting with Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3. If they're starting off with those titles, I'm excited to see where they go from there.

The Microsoft Press Conference really was off to a fantastic start, finally showcasing the games we wanted to see. Pretty much everything looked awesome, and I'm excited for quite a few games on that list. Exclusive and non-exclusive games alike. Pricing for the Xbox One is $499 at launch, although I'm wondering if that won't change with the PS4's price of $399.

Xbox will have to do some changes though, if they want to succeed at all. PlayStation hit them pretty hard, and I, for one, am anxious to see their recovery.

I will be buying an Xbox One (along with a PS4) because all the 'bad' qualities concerning the Xbox One don't affect me in the slightest. I always have a internet connection established, I don't really lend out games, I already pay for Gold....not really worried about anything with the Xbox One.

Thoughts?

I'll probably buy an Xbox eventually but the PS4 and Wii come first.

There is always the possibility of buying an xbox one as well, but in a couple of years.

I don't know how much of this internet rage will affect sales. MS has good games but bad marketing. It's like WiiU all over again. It is a good console, and has TV features too, but people don't know WiiU is new. They thinkg the gamepad is just an add-on accesory for Wii like WiiFit. Of course the DRM thing was bad too, who knows. And let's not forget the  creepy cam and the NSA spying news that appeared at the same time making MS look even worse. PS4 had a better message overall at their conference that spoke to "gamers". I do like Master Chief's the giant robot thingy and Dead Rising looks pretty sweet.

Yeah, the camera thing was a bit odd, but I'm hoping they can explain it better, and in a way that doesn't make us feel like we are being constantly watched.

I didn't actually think about that, with the WiiU gamepad, but that makes sense. When it first came out, I thought the same thing-that it was just some new addition to the Wii.

I don't like drm and I like used games, so I won't be getting a XBO.

Last I heard, The Witcher 3 wasn't an XBO exclusive.

Yeah, not anymore. I'll fix that right now. When it first was announced, it was supposed to be an exclusive, but that obviously isn't the case anymore.

I'll most likely get a PS4 first, but not anytime soon, maybe around fall next year. Though I don't want to jump in late like I did this gen with the PS360. I'll get an X1, maybe if they have another Banjo game. A platformer one though. Overall, great E3.

It was a really good E3, I thought. I think I'm getting the X1 first...but we will see how that pans out.

How did you feel about Nintendo's conference?

While they didn't show anything we didn't already know about (aside DK) I thought it was pretty good. Certainly better than last years. All I know is that I'm going to be very busy playing Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon lol
