The greatest RPG ever made. Legend of the Dragoon is a PSX game created in the 1990s about a haphazard, throw caution to the wind, would-be hero Dart Feld. He joins up with his childhood best friend and sweet heart, Shana to save the known world from certain devastation. Their homeland is in the middle of civil war between the Kingdom of Bale, and the Bloodthirsty Sandoran Kingdom. Dart and his friends are caught in the middle of this, along with more sinister enemies waiting on the horizon, he will have to become more powerful than any hero of Serdio before.

I've never played Legend of Dragoon, but I want to. I'm a really big fan of PSONE era JRPG's like Xenogears, Grandia, FF, etc. Never played this or Chronocross or Wild Arms yet though.

I never played it but I do remember downloading some of the soundtrack, if I remember, it had some really good music.

I'll have to correct you: That's "second greatest RPG ever made." I agree with GrayHaired though, it has really good music. And to my surprise it was headed by an American composer. How many times that happen in a JRPG!?
No. It is seriously the greatest RPG of all time. I stand by that.

I just shipped my copy of LoD out to its new owner. I've had it since day 1. My son played through it again last year. So many memories.

I liked LOD more than FF7. Some of my friends at the time thought I was crazy for that. (And my obsession with Rose. lol.)
Rose was awesome lol. LoD was farrrrrr more impressive than FF7. Always felt they did a better job of delivering the story to you as it was instead of making it so convoluted.
