I love great tasting beers, especially, from my own Empire State. New York --baby-- is there any other better place on earth. It's nice to know I can obtain such great tasting brew right in my backyard.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that one. I have been pretty much drinking Sierra Nevada's Torpedo IPA exclusively. So far its one of the best IPA's I have found. There regular IPA is very good too if you want something with less bite and a little less alcohol.

This IPA by Southern Tier will be less hoppy IMO than the Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA and has a sweeter pineapple flavor which i find to be very pleasant. if you can find this brew I  highlyrecommend it as an alternative to your usual Torpedo IPA.

I think that I have had that one.  I love IPAs, Lakefront IPA, MKE brewing's hop happy, 3 Floyd's Arctic Panzer Wolf.

i'll have to get my hands on some 3 Floyds stuff because you seem to mention it a lot. I've had the Lakefront which is very good, but if you can get your hand on some southern Tier give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Well let me know Lee because some of the stuff you get down in that neck of the woods I can't get up here due to distribution territories, regionalism and what not. upstate and Western NY brew some great beers wespecially the Ommegang product line which has a direct affiliation with Duvel.

This is a great beer. I actually had it in Tampa, FL of all places. Funny enough, now that I'm back in Albany, NY, I haven't spotted it yet.

Chessa just bought me a Goose Island sampler pack, so I'm looking forward to cracking into that tomorrow for Father's Day.
