I had a very successful yard saleing experience yesterday which while long and boring for the most part culminated in me finding this. I found it with 6 Genesis games and the two N64 games you see beside it. I works perfectly and Pikachu's cheeks light up when you start it. :) As much as I'd like to hang on to it I will be selling as soon as I find the right buyer.

No, I'm not sure I've ever seen one before. As soon as I realized what it was I clutched it to my chest and started growling at people around me. LOL. OK, not really but I got the thing and 8 games for 5 bucks. Now that's nuts!

That's cool, and even though the Pikachu is extending it, it actually looks smaller than my N64 at home. Case in point: awww, that's adorable.

Yep, I thought so too. I was in a pissy mood by the time I found it. My wife was laughing at me after we got it because I was grinning like the Cheshire cat that swallowed the canary, or in this case Pikachu.

OMFG I actually used to own a N64 like that! I was a massive pokemon nut when I was younger. I had pokemon blankets, pokemon pillows, pokemon posters, trading cards, mugs, cups, games, shows, movies, and just about everything pokemon themed. I really wish I had have kept a hold of them!

I was checking around after I bought it and someone was asking around $1200 for a new one. Used ones seem to sell for around 60 or 70 bucks. I just think it's really frikkin' cool.

I was never a big Pokemon fan, but I do think Pikachu is adorable. That's much cuter than my N64.

When I threw the switch and Pikachu's cheeks lit up it was hilarious.

Wow, thats a hell of a score. I almost forgot about those N64's. Thats the fun part about garage sales, you never know what treasures you may find Smile.

Yep, I was getting so bored and frustrated and I actually almost called it a day when BOOM I realized why I was out there in the first place. That moment made my whole morning worthwhile

Great find Pete! I probably wouldn't want that thing in my living room either lol. It's amazing how many different models of the N64 were made. What Genesis games did you get? Anything good?

I can't remember all the Genesis titles. I basically went through everything they had, threw back any sports titles and took the rest. One of them was Dynamite Headdy and another was Sonic 3.

Well, its probably a good thing that I have been avoiding garage sales recently.  Any old videogames always seem to make me spend money.

My wife and I did some yard saling for a couple Saturdays earlier this year but we never found anything awesome like...which stinks because that's why I was going lol

When we found it, it was all I could do to stop myself running 'round in circles going woop, woop, woop and then falling over. How I managed to stay calm when the lady told me she'd take 5 bucks for the console and 8 games I have no clue.

I remember when I first saw that and wanted it so bad, but if I remember correctly the only store in my area that was selling it at the time knew how many people wanted it and jacked up the price so I couldn't hope to afford it.

Taking advantage of kids like that. It's just not right.

That is such a collector's item! I saw one of those once and thought it was very clever. I have been wanting to hit some garage sales looking for games. Maybe I'll hit the jackpot like you did.

I wish I could find something like that at garage sales. All I've found was a copy of halo wars and two gameboy micros, one a famicom variant. Frown
