not too lucky, because he was off to New York in the early morning we could only get his newest book signed. But it'll hold me over till i go to a REAL signing with Neil.

a little jealous.  I nearly forgot that his new book was coming.  

Neil usually lets the PR machine do it's work. Unless you're seeking his name you won't usually won't know what he's doing 

I like to keep on top of what he is doing because he is one of my favourite authors.  I just have not ordered the new one yet, so I forgot about it.

damn.  Gaiman is the man (though I don't love his novels). 

I like only a few Novels, Can't tell where I like the GN or N version of Stardust myself. But ofcourse bigger fan of his comics work. Too bad i couldn't get my sandman signed, I got the cover artist Dave McKean to sign it a few years back.

I'm jealous - Gaiman is the man! If any creative types on here need some inspiration, do yourself a favor and watch his commencement speech at University of the Arts.

That Gaiman knows what needs to be said at the best of times, that's for sure

I live on what's technically the outskirts of London, itt was all country till the city expanded after the war, so i still need to wake up early for dat bloody train 

He'll be in New York for something sometime tomorrow, if he is doing something there you could catch the train too 

That man is one smart and talented dude. Heard an interview with him recently and he's funny too! Cool that you got to meet him.

Too bad it was brief, if his schedual wasn't so packed maybe we'd get i bit more time with him.

Nice! I'm not too familiar with his work, though he did adapt the English script to possibly my favorite movie ever: Princess Mononoke!

He wrote Stardust (the book the film is based off) and You should read Sandman, Black Orchid and The Eternals. Great comicbooks by him. He's done some doctor Who work too.

Damm, i'm jelous of you. Great to see you meet him, even though I haven't read anything by him. What do you recommend to start with Neil Gaiman?

Comics: oh... Sandman is an obvious choice, Black Orchid,

Novels: American Gods, Stardust (there's a graphicnovel you mig want to try), Neverwhere, Coraline.

He's very insightful once you get him going, to bad i could chat fot longer.

Sandman, right? Vertigo was great in the 90s and he helpdefine that era beyond "The Dark Age".

I wish his Miracleman (If you don't know think DC's Captain Marvel) was able to go into trade (as well as Alan Moore's) but the rights to it maybe with marvel soon enough.

Miracleman will be a movie before we know it! Someday it's all just going to click.

Yea, Sandman. Favorite idea behind a character. How everything is redefined for every new trade, and the host of illustrators, continue to amaze me after all of these years.
