Been hearing great things about this. Question: to what degree is this a zombie game, or like one? Cause the way it's marketed screams zombie game, but these look like ordinary people they're fighting. Or is that a spoiler?

Naughty Dog's been pretty vocal since the beginning how you fight both zombies and humans here. Gives the game good variety both in story and gameplay.

yeah I've been listening to you raving about it on Twitter and I've pretty much decided to pick it up next month.  It sounds too good. 

I think it'll fit into the list of games that thrilled you just fine.

You're probably right, but I am in the midst of playing Telltale's The Walking Dead. Even though these games are completely different, playing two post-apocalypic survival games at the same time doesn't sit well right now.

I understand that. Especially since they're both about an older guy trying to protect a young girl. When you're ready for more zombie goodness though, Last of Us is pretty damn incredible.

 Casey, I'm thinking about buying a second hand ps3 just for this game. Me and a friend are going to go halves and finish this sucker.

Fantastic idea! You know how you wish Naughty Dog would work on something better than Uncharted and there were more suvival horror games? This will fix both those in one go.

Whoo! Naughty Dog is damned talented, so I do believe the praise being heaped upon it. That said, I am a touch skeptical.

Thought you'd blog about this amazing game sooner or later. (Read some of your tweets,cas. lol.) Btw, this music is very fitting. Just ask The Joker!

I can't wait to play The Last of Us. Thank god I start my new job next month.

It's still at 95 on metacritic. Everyone's raving about it. 

Like those GIFs you used,those are cool. I just finished The Last Of Us tonight. Already want to play it again. I like the way it ended. Pretty sure they will do a sequel now. Like The Walking Dead the fight for survival continues on.

It's not just that reason. You acted like the biggest differences didn't exist in your argument, it could have been something I didn't enjoy and I'd feel the same way.
