Feel free to read my recent blog for my thoughts on the whole kabob. lol. It's good microsoft did the right thing but don't forget they had to be strong-armed into it whereas Sony was "consumer friendly" right from the start. Just saying.
Well, this is what happens when I sleep weird hours

Microsoft has retracted a couple key Xbox One policies, and lo and behold, they're the ones I care most about, and I've been saying all along they've mentioned they can change their policies any time, and that they had more games (at launch) I want and what I thought was a better controller.
Well, I am still not planning on getting anything at launch, but they have become a viable option for me again. They may even be what I go with, especially if, as I've been saying, they release a cheap Kinectless version for a price similar to PS4.In that case, the price matters to me more than my privacy; not because I don't value my privacy, but unplugging the thing takes care of that concern, and so does being able to use it in an offline setting.
However, this whole fiasco has saddled me with a bit of distrust, and I'm still considering a PS4 because ... well, launch titles aren't everything, and I'm wondering if when it comes down to it, I might just like Sony's exclusives better in the long run.
But hey, now it's about games again, for me at least, which is a good thing.
I see some of you already uploaded this news, so I'll be commenting those blogs and others.
