I never bothered to actually play through the ending sequence again for the "new" ending.  I was satisfied with the ending and have not looked back.

Im gkad you were fine with the original ending, Its spoiled for me so when I do buy the triology set ill know whats coming at the end. Well unless I get that new ending then I wont because that shockingly hasnt been spoiled.

I never finished the saga so I can't complain.. Lucky me..?

I guess so man,lol! I actually feel some what unlucky because the original ending was spoiled for me. I however still plan to buy the triology and go through it. Sorry I had to rant there.

I think there's a wise proverb that says no matter how hard you try to please everyone,it's an impossible task. lol. Sometimes it's better to let things lay as opposed to digging them up again.

Well it seems to be that a lot of people cant let the freaking thing rest. I had thought like I said originally it was forgotten about but nope, silly of me to think that ^_^,lol. It is difficult to please everyone, if only it was easy.

I loved the original ending, and like Transmet, I didn't play through the second ending they provided.  I just didn't have the heart

I prolly wouldnt have either if i had played the games but since mass effect was oringally a Xbox exclusive I never started the trilogy and I really didnt like the idea of starting with 2. Im glad they put the first one on the PS3 now, now I can enjoy all 3 in order!

It ended disappointed or not i didnt see a need to make the cry babies happy like you said its a game get over it move on but apparently alot of people have no life.

Video games are the only medium in entertainment where these tactics have been tried. If you hate the ending of a movie or TV show will they re-do it to please you? Fat chance of that happening,ever. I cannot imagine the discussions that took place at Bioware about this matter. It must have seemed ridiculous to them.

I bet it did, sadly games are the only medium it would be easy to change an ending which makes it more of a possiability. A movie/tv show we be so much more difficult.

I only played ME 2 so I can't really say that the ending disappointed me. I thought it was disgusting how they changed it just because people were bitching so much. Was it really that bad? Surely it couldn't be worse than Final Fantasy 13-2? I don't think anything ever could be lol. I've beaten so many NES games that had shitty endings. I mean like a paragraph with typos. None of those ever got changed. I was just happy to get through them because they are so insane lol.

I dont think anything could be worse then that, I saw the ending for that watching my lil sister play it. I told my lil sister not to play it but she wouldnt listen,lol.

I think the ending sucks.  I don't rant on about it nor did I ask Bioware to change it, but I will let people know I think the endings are bad.  If you played through all the games and paid attention, there are many reasons why the ending sucks.  They endings don't even make sense within the context of the story.  People want videogames to be taken seriously, a media that is normal for intelligent adults to participate in, and yet so many people are satisfied with bullshit.  ME3's ending was bullshit.  My belief is Bioware added to the ending because they knew they fucked up. 

Also, what I think is funny are the people that rant and bitch about the people that rant and bitch about the ME3 ending.

I played the trilogy and as far as I know I got the new ending, although it looked to me like there was a possible three endings unless of course your choice makes no difference and thats what people are pissed about. I havent' went back to the end so I don't know. But in the case of the Mass Effect games I think the old saying about the journey being better than the actual destination fits perfectly.

And yeah I think the ending could've been better but I'm not going to get all butt hurt and throw a tantrum about it. I thought Stephen King craped out on the final book and ending for the Dark Tower series. But I would still recomend those books to anyone because the lead up to that lame ending was still great. Same for the Mass Trilogy.

I heard his Dark Tower series is amazing, sad the last book wasnt have good as it could of been. I know the feeling though, I have had several great series endings not go good but it didnt ruin the whole thing for me. I agree completely with your journey quote!

The Dark Tower books really are great and they are actually the core universe for a lot of his other books. The Stand , Rose Madder, even Salems Lot are all tied to the Dark Towers series in some way or another. Darkhorse has been readapting the series in graphic novel form, not sure how far along they have gotten though, its like 8 or 9 really fat books, lol. I was broke back when they first came out and couldn't afford them, but they looked pretty damn cool.

The ending didn't bother me so much in ME3 because I felt as if the whole game was "the ending" and I was satisfied with that. I read the DLC was really great though. I wish I could play it  but I removed the game from my PC already. 

I have heard the DLC packs are really good, especially the last one they released. I Plan to get the game for the ps3, I dont have a PC that can run it whihc I hope to change at some point.

Well, the DLC packs are kind of expensive if you buy them all. There are a bunch. I was hoping for a deluxe collector edition, which is already out for PS3 I think, but not sure about the DLC.
