There is a lot I want to talk about. First I will say I am glad there is no DRM in the Xbox One now. I don't feel so dirty buying it anymore. I had pre-ordered it and the PS4 the moment they were on Amazon. I paid those suckers off with Amazon Gift Cards. Its great having those out of the way and concentrate on games. There is a lot I want on the Xbox One and PS4 so its good to focus on buying games for them. I will also add that Microsoft completely lied. I have a lot of resentment toward them now and their practices. They talk so much about their once a day connection and about the restrictions about used games. They spun it to make it necessary than done away with it. Its a joke. A lot of people will flock to the Xbox One now. Personally, if I could only get one system, there is no way I would take it over the PS4. No way. I say that even with Microsoft finally getting their act together with new IPs which is the number one thing they needed to do.
Before the next generation happens and with all we know, I am in love with The Last of Us. I might be about 60% or more done on hard. I am not sure. Its been a wild ride and it stays fresh and immersive. I enjoy everything this game offers. The atmosphere is great. The graphics are gorgeous. Ellie is an interesting realistic girl. I mean I can see a girl like her in real life with the same personality. I find the struggle to survive within this world very thrilling. I think it does a good job mixing things up with humans and the affected. It keeps the gameplay fresh and love searching for items to make weapons and such. I highly recommend buying this game.
I thought I would have a hard time picking between Bioshock Infinite and this as my game of the year so far. I have to say that The Last of Us takes it for me. I find this game to be much better than the Uncharted titles. Naughty Dog made what I consider an even better IP. That of course is in the eye of the beholder based on tastes since they differ in some key ways. The only game right now I see being major competition for game of the year is GTAV. I dont see it happening. New IPs such as this is pretty impactful.
It was a good move on Microsoft's part. I'm still going to stick with the PS4 for numerous reasons, but at least I will consider the Xbox One some time in the future.
Looks like Naughty Dog is going to have their hands full on the PS4 with two huge franchises on PS3. Since Last of Us seems to be selling out in many places, I imagine they will plan a sequel.
I am hoping there will be a sequel from the enjoyment I am having so far but it seems a lot think its good enough as a standalone title and doesn't need a sequel. I guess I will find out when I get to the end. With Naughty Dog's talent, I would love to see them do another new IP. They have been incredible so far.
I've been visiting message boards since the announcement of no DRM and people are still arguing about this on message boards. It's sad how people are wasting their summers talking about this. It gives video gamers a bad name. Some people are angry at Microsoft for "caving in" to our demands. I wish these guys would get out in the world, have some fun and take a rest. Instead, all summer long they will have sausage parties arguing over video games. I guess that's what happens when their female counterparts are too busy drooling over Justin Bieber and other lame fandoms.
Honestly, I waste a lot of time commenting on various sites. Its almost an addiction for me to look up video game related news.
oh man I am excited for Last of Us. Definitely picking it up soon.
Yeah, about Microsoft, what is there left to say? It's just ugly. Well -- at least I will get one eventually, just not one soon. Every company lies and cheats, I guess it's just like that. I'm in it for the games, everything else can go to hell. 
Microsoft seemed to have lied on an unparrelled level compared to usual standards of companies. Its great to see them turnaround but they lied again saying they did it for us because we demanded it, they simply saw the pre-order differences. If that wasn't the case than they are hard of hearing.
I'll look into getting The Last of Us. I have to get Bioshock Infinite too.

Last of Us looks great. I'm glad to see a new IP become successful, so tired of sequels already. Might we be seeing a Last of Us 2 on PS4? I haven't played Bioshock Infinite. Stupid Animal Crossing.
Haven't played Bioshock Infinite because of Animal Crossing? Its been out awhile before New Leaf. Anyway, its a great game that must be played.
But I'm poor. 
And New Leaf had been reserved months before.
Everyone is pretty much unanimous on Last of Us being awesome. Makes me want a PS3.
I think there is plenty of exclusive games make the PS3 worth getting, The Last of Us should though seal the deal for some people.
