I won't spoil anything. I will say though that the ending isn't what I was expecting. There were at least a couple of times I thought it would end but didn't. I have to say that this game was really incredible in how it kept a balance of being linear but still give you room to explore. It is also a fine example of direct storytelling without giving you choices. I think this game set a milestone personally for me than Uncharted ever had. I loved the adventure. I love how you didn't know just around a corner if there was going to be a big group of Clickers. It get things suspenseful. There are some interesting and crazy encounters with humans, especially one particular group. The game is many ways like The Walking Dead in how humans are just as ruthless if not more.

The story is more than just a story for gameplay and that isn't what I can't get into and its a fine example of what I love about the game. The choices and little touches are throughout the game and even things that happen are reflected in some things in the environment.

I am now contemplating playing on survivor. There was a couple of occasions where the game was pretty tough but it was too tough and being able to play through the last encounter is great in the game. I hope you playthough the game. It's a great experience. I would love to see a second title but also it also makes me want to see Naughty Dog do more of these type of games with a new IP. The story in these type of games is the almost the exception of the rule when it comes to innovative gameplay if the experience is as immersive with characters within its world. That is for me anyway.

So now...

The Last of Us so far is my game of the year. Bioshock Infinite, Gucamelee, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, and Tomb Raider are the other games I enjoyed the most this year. I can't imagine Beyond: Two Souls, GTAV, or Watch Dogs being as good.

Congrats.  I'll have to get that game one day.

I beat Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS) last night after being stuck for over a month.  Sadly, I don't think I got a good ending.  I didn't know the game had multiple endings until I saw my ending and it wasn't so good.  There are some areas I didn't go into, so I'll do a bit more exploring and figure out how to get a better ending.

Congrats!

My biggest question is;

Is there much replay value to the game?

I haven't played the multiplayer but its supposedly pretty good. The game has a game plus which opens up survivor campaign mode. I think its mostly a harder difficulty but it carries over what you had from the previous game. I will find out soon. There is game plus on every difficulty and you have to beat the game three times to get all the trophies for beating the game.

Congrats. I probably won't get the game myself, I don't like zombie games. Kind of like how Cary Woodham doesn't like vampire games. I'll just content myself with trying to get 100% in Tomb Raider Smile.

There no zombies in the game but I get what your saying.
