Updates and Buys Vol. 7

Even with E3 over, there is still a lot of information to take in and soak on our minds about the coming gaming years ahead for consoles. PS4 wise I think its gonna be some great years. Sony has kept me happy enough that Im totally ready for a PS4 now. I still got a ways to wait but no less excited. While Sony is making online pay to play through PS+ they are doing the right thing by telling publishers no online passes. They refuse to accept the passes on any PS4 games. PS+ will also carry over on all Sony systems. While I use to play online on the PS4, my PS3 will still have access to it and its benefits. As far as I know, they dont plan to discontinue instant game collection for the PS3 or Vita. They have also said that the free to play games Warframe, Planetside 2, and Dc Universe online will not require PS+ to play. They have also announced that within the first year of the PS4, they will launch 20 exclusives on the system. Now, this doesnt mean Im counting the Xbone out, they so far have stated a change in policies for the system and as long as that stays Ill consider getting one sooner then I previous thought of. Im still gonna wait a time before I have one in my room. It will also be unplugged when I am not playing on it. Also Fable 4 has seen no announcemt yet so that def helps hold off waiting for it.

Buys

I am so happy I bought this game, Ive been in memory lane playing it. The game def reminds me of my DK country days and thats what makes me most happy with it. So far Im severally enjoying the game.

This has been another memory lane game. I played the original ga,es years ago. Started with Rayman and went all the way to Rayman 3. This is the 3D remake of the second Rayman game and it is great playing through it again. The graphics look great on it too!

Me and my bf went to Lonestar Comics off of Hulen last week. I was wanting to see if they had to the second comic to American Dreams because I got the first one with my game edition and really liked it. My sweet bf bought it for me even though I told him I wanted to come back the next day since I got paid then, you men dont listen! Havent gotten a chance to sit down and read it but I plan to soon.

I'm having a blast with Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. The game is fantastic and just a hell of a lot of fun, and as a platformer fan I'm in absolute heaven. I was pleasantly surprised by the 3D effect as well. It's extremely effective considering that the game wasn't originally made with 3D in mind. :)

I actually, dont use the 3D effect on my 3DS for any of the games. It might sound odd but I honestly dont care for 3D effects. Hell I dont even go see movies in 3D. I think personally its over hyped and not worth the extra money. Im happy to hear your enjoying DK, Im severally happy with my purchase. It def is a platform lovers heaven!

Even if you dont get it next month, Id get it the next chance you have after SMT IV. It wells worth the money!

I tried playing the original Rayman on ps1 recently. I like it, but it's a lot different than Origins which is the only one I'm really familar with. I want to try the others someday. I'm excited about Rayman Legends.

See thats where I got lucky, I grew up with the Rayman games. I knew mister Rayman before Origins came out so Origins doesnt effect me playing through the originals. I however feel that I might have been on acid playing the first game as a child now.....lol

Im excited for Legends too!

I tried playing rayman 2 on the ps2, but never got very far. I do really like rayman oranges, but cannot seem to get into the older games.

I love the older games and I actually love them more the the newer series but the new ones are def good games. I jsut grew up with it, I noticed a lot of people that played Origins around me and then backtracked to the older games went through this.

I played DK on Wii, and it was HARD as hell towards the end! I heard that they made the 3DS version slightly easier. Maybe I'll pick it up and try to finish it off at some point?

They actually made an easy playthrough and kept the difficult one for those who wanted the challenge, Im going through trying to complete the challenging setting first. It looks great on the 3DS so I say def get it for that!

I'm fairly excited for the PS4. I'll still probably wait until at least mid-2014 before getting the console. I wanna see what tech bugs need to get worked out first.

I'm totally ignoring the Xbox One for now. I pissed at microsoft for actually thinking that it would be a good idea to kill used game sales (or make it as awful as possible).

I dont blame you, Im gonna wait on the Xbone for a good while to see how they actually handle with changing their policies. I have heard they have suspended the preorders on the system because it might not see release this year with them changing stuff but so far thats jsut a rumor. Im just gonna suffer through and be an early adopter for the PS4, Im soo excited for it!

I'm probably going to wait and see if the hardware isn't faulty like the first PS3's were. But I'll most likely get a PS4 around this time or fall next year. As for DKCR3D, have fun with it while you can, it get's really hard later on, well on the Wii. Heard the 3DS version is a bit easier.

They made an easier mode on DK and kept the challenging mode. Im going through the challenging setting. I think I can beat!

Im hopeing it doesnt have many issues upon release. Sony is really trying hard to show their not going for a failed launch this time. If something does occur I doubt Sony would leave early adopters out and do something to get it fixed fast. As Ive said though, Ill take the risk, I know what Im getting into. I was an early adopter the Wii U at launch, I didnt even have any probs with it so Im not too worried.

I don't see why Sony would discontinue anything on PS3 or Vita. PS3 has a huge install base and I predict that games and services will be up for the next 2-3 years. I know the Vita hasn't done as well as they had hoped but its still young and there are plenty of games that will be released for it. I really want that Muramasa remake, Tearaway, Killzone Mercenary and PixelJunk Monsters Ulimate.

The PS Vita is gonna be implemtened into the PS4 big time so I doubt the Vita is going any where jsut yet. I jsut dont know the story behind Instant collection yet, but like I said, I believe it will stay intacked. I want a Vita for some of those excat games. I jsut got a 3DS though and I got to work on saving for the PS4 so I shall be Vitaless for a good while.
