I deleted my save, don't ask me how but today i've been unbelievably unco-ordinated, first yesterday i thought i saved but this morning i found out i'm where i was at 1hr before i saved (but that was only grnding so no BIG lose) but when i decided to go back after that revelation i pressed one button (twice) i don't know if it was the (b) or (a) and then...

Gone, I've been playing for a week and have sunk about under 50hrs in, and i'm doing far better than the first time... huh!

Despite my exaserbation i may still have hope, after i replaced my first Wii i took all the saves onto an SDcard and moved them all. But now the problem is finding the bloody thing! Frown

Wish me luck.

That sucks.  I hate when that kind of stuff happens.  I lost 10 or so hours of clearing out buildings in Fallout 3 because of the stupid autosave.  I also try to do speedruns in the Metroid games, and save only once or twice throughout the playthrough.  Then getting cocky and dying 2 hours after my last save.

One button and 50 hours are gone? Simply gone?!?!? That's horrible. Yell

I used to have a lot of issues with memory cards in the PS1 days. They would constantly get corrupted. WTF knows why that would happen? I hope you can find your SD card.

Speaking of deleting stuff, I accidentally all 800 unopened messages I had on Pixlbit due to not knowing what paper with red "X" on it meant until I pressed It. You'd think it would have at least asked for a confirmation first.

If it makes you feel any better, any blogs in those 800 that were mine really weren't worth opening in all likelihood. lol Good to see you around again, though!

And I hope you find that V, I think I nearly broke a TV when Eternal Darkness pretended to erase my memory card.

As luck would have it I've found my card and 2 saves, now the problem is in the second save where i started again the last time i am at the same level i was in the data i lost but further into the story and by short a time.

This means i have a lot of quests team building and gem crafting to do, so wisj me luck Tongue Out

Thanks for the stores guys, it's nice to read that as gamers "we've all been there"Cool

I had 3 PS1 Madcats memory cards crap out on me. Luckily no rpg saves were on them, mostly fighters and shooters. Still sucked, that what I get for being cheap all my Sony cards still work even my first one which is like 15 old years now.

I remeber turning auto saves off from Minecraft many times and spending a few hours creating things only to have them completely erased from memory!........ I feel your pain.

Really sucks man.

I myself also had those accidental deletes. The one I remember the most was with Super Mario Bros. 3 on the Wii, where I had a good progress and I was I think in World 5 and I don't remember the reason, but I turned off the console and then I remembered that doing that erases the progress.

Godspeed noble Xeno-blader! You may have been halted but you will triumph!

Oh dear, that's bad. But look at it this way: now you can redo it all and make all the proper decisions and not waste time running to and frow?

I figured as such, good luck with your search.
