I want an Ouya. I know it has problems, but I believe in the idea of it, and want to support them. Plus I want to play God of Blades with a controller!
Got my Ouya today / need to stop screwing around.

So I got my Ouya in the mail today. I ordered one of the launch models, I must say, there's a lot of negative reviews but I'm liking it so far today. Most of the games are app style games, and though a lot of duds, the "Discover" system is pretty good at pointing you towards some fun little games for now.
The controller is a lot better than I thought it'd be. I heard problems of lag and buttons sticking, I can happily say I'm not plagued by either. It's pretty comfortable to hold and has a nice weight, could use some rumble though. The touch pad is a throw away as well.
The system is underpowered, but really cheap to buy. Seriously, the controller is $50 stand alone.. to buy the system with a controller, plus small HDMI cable and a couple batteries is $99, so the console itself is around $50... less than a single retail game, so I'd say it seems like a great bargain buy right out the door. A pretty good choice for some casual gaming.
I did have some internet connection issues when initially trying to setup my wireless which had me worried, but it ended up working.
Now I have to review the PS3 version of Deadly Premonition... that is to say I need to start playing it and then review it! Time to stop screwing around and go play some vids ;) .
Vic out.
