Hello, and thanks for having me. I'm another member from 1up come to take over Pixlbit. Cool Haha, I'm just kidding. Truth is, I didn't participate much over there. It was only in the last couple months that I decided to post in the blog scene. Since it was around for years, I didn't really feel the need to rush right in. The only unfortunate thing is that I was just starting to become more active when they pulled the plug.

Right, about me. I grew up in Detroit and joined the Army as in Infantryman in 2001 before 9/11. Three deployments later, I am recently out for the time being. With the downsizing, I thought that it would be a good time to use the GI Bill and further my education. I joined the Indiana National Guard so I could keep my time in service. Along the way, I got married, was cheated on, and got divorced. I got the last laugh though, because her child's father recently found out that his baby belongs to his brother. I guess everything worked out for the best. Karma will get you in the end.

I have been playing video games since the NES came out. I was 7 years old. I have a lot of great childhood memories with the console. My favorites were the Super Mario and Mega Man games. I got an SNES in my teens and liked it even more. My favorites then were the Mega Man X games and the Final Fantasy games. From there, I got a Playstation right when Final Fantasy VII came out and loved it. It's still a great system. Square had so many great games come out, and RPG's in general became my favorite genre. I also dabbled in the Dreamcast, N64, PS2, XBox, Game Cube, 360, PsP, Wii & PS3. My favorites were actually the portable Nintendo handhelds, because I just liked the fact that I could take them anywhere.

So that's pretty much me. I look forward to participating and making online friends here. I leave you with a pic of my favorite video game. Have a great week.

I saw the picture, and the music instantly popped into my head for that particular scene. I guess I've played that game quite a bit as well! lol

Yeah, I was so sad about that ending because that meant that there was nothing left to do in that game anymore! Haha

I absolutely love FF 6. That's my favorite Final Fantasy game, and it was the first rpg that I ever played. I've since played it to death lol. Welcome to Pixlbit!

Me too, it was the second I ever played, and thanks! I have been thinking about getting a tat for that game, but haven't found the perfect image yet.

welcome, man!  participating in the community is very rewarding, and I would recommend it to anybody.

I'm a huge fan of PSONE JRPG's too.  I just can't get enough of them on my PSP.

It's really good to see you too man! Yep, it was a great time for RPG's then. I'll be getting more into the PsP after I'm done rebuilding my Wii collection. Not too much longer I think.

Ah, airship moments in FF 6 can't be beat. Granted, Setzer's first airship crash & burned but at least he had a worthy spare hidden away somewhere. (That mirrors the situation with 1up & Pixlbit almost too perfectly. lol.)

I didn't notice that until now. lol Right on. I was going to post a pic of my tat, but I ran across this gem I did awhile back. Can you guess the changes? ;-)

I got started on NES and SNES as well, cause my older brother had the systems.

Nice to meet you again! lol

Thanks. You too. Sometimes I yearn for the good old days, but it is still a good time to be in video games.
