It was worth it to click on this for that picture of the kid with the PC.
Dungeons & Dragoons, or lets talk ARR beta weekend 3

This will be short. I've been making some steady progress exploring A Realm Reborn Beta, and so far I feel like the time I've put into it has been rewarding. Ironically, all of my time spent will be pointless since the test servers will be wiped before the next test phase begins so it's a bitter-sweet feeling.
Luckily, I was able to finish the story mode, which in beta only goes to level 20, leaving me free to explore and do as I please with other things like leveling up a second class, seeing more of the environments, participating in dungeons, etc. I have been able to get through most of the content so far with what I consider to be a weak character, the Healer class "conjurer", and this class is just as capable as any to solo the game.
Some of the dungeons I've finished do require a min of 4 party members, in case players forget they are playing an MMO. So far the dungeons have all been interesting and fun, ending with awesome boss fights. The dungeons offer a variety of challenges, including light puzzles and mini bosses to trip you up. Some of the boss fights required a bit of strategy and proper usage of your class abilites. I was also able to get a personal chocobo for transport as well. Getting around will be much easier now.
The only thing I haven't explored are the gathering and crafting classes. So far I've mostly enjoyed battling and grinding class levels. I also haven't explored Job classes yet, which require leveling up at least 2 classes.
Next weekend, I will level up my Gladiator and try a bit of crafting and gathering. Maybe some more base classes as well. So far other players have mostly been helpful and all around nice people to play with, I'm not sure how long that will stay that way?
This beta is eating away at my game time. I think I have a problem...
