I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your stuff dude :) I'd say the PSX is probably my favourite console of all time as well! Never owned a nintendo console so can't comment on the SNES!
Here I Go Again...

Hi Everyone,
The name's Surf. My gaming history is pretty stock; I was gifted a Nintendo Entertainment System at the age of four from my parents. I became obsessed with platforming games in my youth. As far as I was concerned if it wasn't a platformer/actioner, and the rare racing game, then I wasn't interested.
Later as an adolescent I came across RPGs. Since then they've become my favourite genre. I also like the occasional 3rd/1st person shooters, but I don't particularly like the state of those genres these days. I used to really enjoy war sims, but I haven't really played one of those since Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun.
I'm a bit retro in my tastes. I like my old JRPGs and I can't say as I've played any of the mainstream WRPGs that have come out in the passsed decade or so. I love tactical RPGs, but have honestly only played a handful. I tend to lean on Nintendo and Sony stuff (the SNES and the PSX are my favourite consoles), but I do enjoy the odd multiplayer match of Halo 2, 3 or 4 on my Xbox.
My current-gen consoles include the Wii U and the 3DS. My intention is to stick to those two platforms, and maybe a new PC, this generation. I bought them all last-gen and I didn't manage to keep any focus on my games whatsoever. Far too many in the backlog for my PS3, 360, Wii, PSP and DS.
I've tried this sort of blog thing in the past. In fact, I still have what I've been using as a Tumblr blog for a while now. I think I might migrate my written stuff to this site and continue posting images to my Tumblr. I can't say I'll be frequent, but I do try to post something new every Friday in my Friday Favourites series. I'm also trying to be more frequent in my YouTube channel, as well, so check that out.
Anyway, I'm hopeful this site will have a great community and that I'll continue to post here for some time!
Take care,
Surf
