Is this about someone where you work? Sounds like you may have a pocket dictator on your hands. Big fish in a small pond,perhaps? Dealt with that before. Good poem,gets right to the point!

I read "Shine Peacock Shine" to the tune of "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image. Well, that's not the lighthearted direction this went at all! lol
I've been lucky to have some pretty decent bosses, but I can definitely relate to the frustration with even those sometimes. Although they weren't always smiling. lol I shouldn't talk, I've probably come across this way that one year I was an assistant manager.
Maybe this guy acts that way cause he's a peacock with a pea cock? Now that, I can't relate to. 
Anyway, is this an old boss, or did you come out of retirement for a bit and get a jackass? Or is it about a boss at all?
Old Boss. I just found it in my notebooks and decided to post it. I have notebooks full. I have been published a few times in some local free papers and I have done spoken word.
Sometimes you gotta let the frustration flow. This piece was one of those times.
