I was working some long hours this weekend. Didn't get a whole lot of sleep,as I was on call for most of it. However,I did manage to squeeze in a two hour gaming session on Sunday where I finished Half-Life 2. Still need to complete the two episodes included in The Orange Box before I will be 100% on that. But I have made considerable progress on Portal.
This game never ceases to trip me out. Second time I've attempted it and I am having a lot of fun. Makes you think about physics,gravity,inertia,and lots of other things you don't ordinarily have to consider while playing a game. My son has finished it before,and he told me the one thing you have to remember at all times. And that is.......
It's a true shame, because I really like cake. I'm such a sucker for desserts!
Now for some good driving music that I hope will be in GTAV. Kavinsky will be hosting Night Ride FM in the game,so it's quite possible some of his songs will be used on that station.......
All I seem to be doing lately is sleeping! I've still got the summer cold from hell, three sick days last week, good thing I have plenty of sick time in my account!
I need to get back to The Orange Box. It was one of the first 360 games I bought, and I've done nothing with it, lol.
My wife is in the same boat as you right now. She's been laid up and sleeping for 3 days now with a cold. It sucks because we have some vacation coming up very soon. Hope you start feeling better soon. The Orange Box is one I will always keep. Such a great collection on all one disk.
Oh man, The Orange Box I played it over many times. Except for Team Fortress 2 which sucked on the X360. Half-Life 2 is fun, Episode 1 is good, and Episode 2 is just friggin' awesome. Portal's soooo good, and I can tell you that Portal 2 is much, much, much better.
Team Fortress sucks on PS3 as well! It is laggy as hell. Looks pretty cool,though. I'm definitely going to play Portal 2 at some point. That one got amazing reviews all around when it was released.
Dang it, I get no sleep and still don't finish games! 
Funny thing is,before I came to this site I had problems finishing games. I somehow got my mojo back and now do it regularly.
I've never finished any of the Half Life games, and the saddest part of that is that I own HL 1 and 2, and the Orange Box as well.. lol
I'm very close to finishing the first one. It's pretty cool so I like playing it often.
I would like to play Portal some time. My brother had the GLaDOS or whatever app for his phone. Funny stuff.
That is one of the best parts of the game. Very funny banter,even if it's one way!
I barely touched The Orange Box. I actually forgot I own that game.
Don't feel too bad....I owned it for a year before starting on the games. Seemed a bit daunting with all that content.
I'm ashamed to tell you how long I owned it. 
I played Portal. Loved it. HAven't played the 2nd one yet, but I do own it.
I loved Half Life 2, more than Half Life 1, which blew my mind back in the day. I'm a Half Life 3 maniac, and can't wait for that.
oh and I played Team Fortress so much I can play it in my sleep. I actually been playing that game since it was a Quake mod. I'm old.
For some reason every time I try playing Team Fortress 2 it runs soooo slowly. Lags like hell to the point it is unplayable.
are u on xbox or PS3? I used to play it on Xbox, but I guess that was years ago now.
I play the PS3 version. It might be my wi-fi,but the 360 does just fine. I think it's a PSN issue.
Valve does good work! The majority of fpses I like a lot either come from them or 2k.

That game can forever be buried in my backlog if I ever kept one. My copy of Half Life 2 still remains as my favoriate cup coaster. Still like tripping out the physics in Portal though. I always try to chase my own tail when I make two portals in a corner. Stupid I know but cool to watch.
