Let's reverse yesterday's poll..
If you could de-make a game of your choice from this generation (Turn a current gen game into an 8-bit classic), what game would you choose?
Darksiders.
It would be awesome in a Zelda-esque form for NES!
Make Star Fox a side scrolling shmup or maybe F-Zero can have the level customization of Excitebike but still be F-Zero? I got nothing.

I want them to de-make Madden games into the 16-bit glory they used to be. And I second the Mass Effect as a top down shooter.
It would be interesting to see a Monster Hunter in 8-bit (or 16-bit if there's isn't enough power) as top-down game in the vein of Zelda. That's all I got.
Metroid prime trilogy into the super metroid style.
Bioshock Infinite into something similar to River City Ransom.
Not sure, either Uncharted, Fallout, or Halo I guess.
Thats a tough one. The most obvious one I can think of would be Valkyria Chronicles redone in the style of FF Tactics or Tactics Ogre if you want to make it true 16 bit.
Mirror's Edge would be easy to do. Just make it a side scroller with some tight platforming. I played a flash game like that and it was awesome. I almost liked it more than the actual game lol.
Demon's Souls. Because lets be honest, this was already an old school game!
Dragon Age Origins as a 16 bit Final Fantasy type of game. =D That'd be awesome.
Shadows of the Damned as a side scroller. It would be perfect. The load screen even shows a side scroll style map!
Final Fantasy XV. I miss me some old skool RPGIng.
