this is on sale for $30. Should I get it? I've heard it's pretty good. I would probably mostly play alone though, don't know many people who have it.
The Living World Experience

MMO developers everywhere have always asked themselves, "how can we make this a real experience? What can we do to make this world come alive?" That's where persistant worlds and Guild Wars 2's Livin Story come into play.
The Living Story is a concept that includes a vast chain of events that change the characters and the world within the game. The dynamic system involves a wide variety of events...for example visitng a town and then later returning to find it under seige. There are all kinds of things that Guild Wars 2 has adapted to their system, such as holiday events and limited time events that really impact the world and make you feel like you are in living area...where nothing lasts forever.
ArenaNet is going to be releasing major updates every two weeks to uphold this decree. The storyline will continue to evolve, with new enemies, threats, places, and various other changes to make you feel like you are in a changing environment. All kinds of new playable content will be announced, along with visible areas of destruction that change Tyria.
Hopefully along the way, there will be new professions and races introduced, as there are areas that you cannot explore, such as the area of the Tengu warriors.
Skills will change, as well as abilities and things that you can physically do...so we shall see where the world takes us next.
