Ya'll got me curious (FFXIV BETA!)

So I have been following the blogs of those of you who have been playing the beta tests for FFXIV and I really like what I'm hearing. I missed out on FFXI because I was broke and didn't have internet back then. I have never played an MMO before but with some of the mostly good expirences I have had playing Borderlands 2 online I kind of have an idea of what to expect. I haven't been getting the most out of my subcription to Gamefly so moving that money over to a subscrition for FFXIV seems like an obvious fix. In other words when this thing comes out for real I do beleive I will have to take the dive. Despite all the shit I talk about modern Final Fantasy games I'm desperate for a good FF fix, lol. In the meantime I'll be keeping up with ya'lls impressions and opinions on what could be my last hope for a good Final Fantasy game.

You really need to apply for the beta. You will probably get in. Either on PC or PS3. You should try it before subbing. I played the last game version 1.0, and this is a vast improvement. I've played many MMOs and so you should take that into account when reading my blog in particular. Of course there are plenty of free to play MMOs out there. They really are more similar than diff, so you should maybe try those out as well.

I have been a hater of FF13 and all it stands for!!! JK but I personally dont like the ff13 series.I felt like the FF series was going down the drain but FF14 is changing my mind. I completely agree with Asrealasitgets. Id try the beta out and see if you really like it before laying money down. Id hate for you to spend a lot of money on something and not like it :(.

Yeah I think a whole lot of us are bitter about what has happend to FF over the last 6 years. But this sounds neat. Going to see if I can squeeze into the beta today.
