I'm almost there - random shit

I've got the game room almost in shape but I haven't even started on my packed up boxes of games and music yet. Too tired today. Maybe tomorrow.

I've added to my pile today by buying Project X Zone. I almost bought Dragons Dogma: Whatever the subtitle but changed my mind at the last minute. I had a 10 buck off coupon so I got the game for 30 bucks instead of 40.

I bought The Last of Us a few days ago plus  ZOtE HD and MGS: Revengeance last weekend.

I now have my old HD DVR attached to the TV in the game room so I can watch TV if I ever feel like it. I doubt it will see much use.

Anyway, just checking in. Off to play a little AC before I go to bed.

I just bought Far Cry 3.  It was on sale on Amazon for $20.  Pretty good price point.  I have often considered getting ZoE, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.  Glad you're almost done there!

Hopefully I'll complete everything tomorrow. I'd love to join up with you on FF XIV but I didn't get a code.

well, it's cool, characters at this point are going to get wiped, so it's worth waiting until the last beta phase (where characters still might get wiped) or the retail release.  it is fun though.

Lots of good games there.

We were trying to get my mom's laptop to hook up to our DVR that's hooked up to the big TV, but I guess the HDMI ports on both are actually outputs, so no go, at least until we figure out a workaround. Too bad it's not a Netflix-ready DVR, cause that's what we're trying to get it to play anyway. Maybe we can request a new one, but talking to Time Warner always takes forever and eats up minutes. At least it works on the TV in the kitchen, but that's one's not much bigger than the laptop screen, though the image is crisper.

Wait, what was this site made for us to talk about again?

The way I figure it, it's a pop culture site that maybe mostly about games but also about nerd shit in general. :D

Hooray for Project X Zone!  I'm playing that, too.

Yep, your best of so far blog had something to do with the purchase, and getting it for 30 bucks did the rest

That's quite the pile you're building up there. I'm sorely tempted to get Project X Zone but I promised myself that I'd get Animal Crossing as soon as I can.

I swear I'm going to get a bit more social in Animal Crossing so make sure you give me your code. There are quite a few people playing. I need to visit some towns.

Slowly but surely you'll be back in action in no time.

Give us a pic of your game rig setup, if only to show the awesomeness of your setup.

My current rig is pollywolly crappy compared to what it could be (or was). I will take pics once I've put all the music back in the racks. The Game racks look a little sad now. :(

VIDEOGAMES!!!

I found myself replaying Fallout 3 again, Castlevania: LOS feels like a chore to play, Resident Evil 6 would be great if not for huge glaring flaws.
