I know some of you know about my past previous attempts to lose weight and I ended up falling off the wagon with it and am still fat. I havent given up completely on losing the weight but I havent been excatly doing everything possiable to do it either. I am however gonna to start working on it a lot more harder. I wanna be healthy and not feel icky all the time and thats practically how I feel half the time Im awake. Ive started going to a gym thats near where I live and Im in need of some new workout music, so if you got any sugestions please share them!
It really depends on what gets you amped, really. My workout mix has over 100 songs. There's every Rocky training montage song, a ton of WWE wrestler entrance music, most of the 1986 Transformers movie soundtrack, lots of hard rock, and pop stuff like Aqua and Lady GaGa.
I actually really love using embarassing pop music when I do cardio, too. Upbeat and fast rythm.
Otherwise, my Bad Religion - All Ages CD is my jam on the treadmill.
I don't really listen to music when lifting weights, though. It's mainly cause I have a bad back and have to really focus on form. Not that good posture isn't important when running, I just have to pay more attention squatting or something (which I haven't done in a while ... I lost weight, but now I'm skinnier than I'd like, need to go back).
But I also reccomend a calorie diet. Easy to keep track of and arguably helps more than gym when losing weight (though combo is obviously best); you're awesome fat or not, but I know the feeling, and wish you best of luck!
The gym where I go to lift weights and stuff just plays classic rock on the radio, so that works for me.
Good luck with your fitness goals! I know you can do it! It took me a long time, but before I started lifting weghts and building muscle, I only weighed about 145 pounds and now I weigh about 200 pounds.
