I couldn't live without a computer either. PC sales are in decline, but I don't think they're going to disappear. they just won't have the dominance they used to, with tablets, and eventually, TV's that act as a home computer.
The Fall of the PC

It makes me very sad to think that PCs might be soon be shoved out of existence. I recently read an article about how PC sales are declining, thanks to all the new tablet developments that have been releasing. Even though PCs have always had a loyal gamer following, myself included, a lot of people have migrated to the tablets. With the new smart glass features on next-gen consoles, it has been predicted that tablet sales will spike.
I personally use my computer for everything. I built my first computer with my dad when I was still really little, and they've garnered a lot of loyalty from me.
I hope all the reports will be proven wrong and PC sales will rise. I don't really like using tablets though, and would hate to end up having to get one.
