A Trip Back To Xcom: Enemy Unknown

So got in one of my what to play modes and decided to play Xcom Enemy Unknown again, now i have beat this game a couple of times on easy and normal modes so this time i went straight to Iron man mode and this is like a new game, and. actually feels more realistic since if you loose a soldier hes gone for good and its very sad to have that excellent high level sniper and for him or her to get killed is devastating , and really makes you contemplate your over all strategy, and since beating the game a few times including the slingshot dlc you really get a different realistic game playing in this mode.

I am moving very slow this time around since its a necessity to really plot and use the cover system. This game is really on my top 10 favorite 360 games cause you all know how i am about strategy games but why oh why did they not use a radom map generator is beyond me this would have made the replay value of this game so much better and then theres the dlc why did they stop making dlc for it, they upon release promised all this dlc and so far the only thing i have seen is the slingshot dlc, and the sad thing is that this game crys out for dlc if there has ever been a game that could make a killing on dlc this game is it.

Think of the dlc options that could enhance this game first off add an update for random generated maps then add some fresh dlc to keep this game fresh, dont get me wrong this is a awesome game and with psn releasing it for free and he price drop on the 360 theres really no excuse to not play this great game, and with Firaxis behind it you know its great and it was a very good reintroduction to the classic Xcom UFO Defense force but...... the thing is it doesnt surpass the original simply for the reasons i named above. Yes i can excuse the not being able to put your base anywhere in the world you want to, but i cant excuse recycling the same maps, to invest so much time and making this game so detailed and strategic and then recycle the maps REALLY!!! Firaxis what were you thinking, so whats done is done but come on give us an update to make the replayability better and to implement this into the game wouldnt be hard to do.

The original version was better of course not graphically wise but random maps, waymore customization and the ability to place your base anywhere, these differences make or break this game and although Xcom is far from being bad it just could be so much more better. So why is Firaxis not putting out dlc for Enemy Unknown the answer is simple this.

And yes The Bureau is the reason 2K Marin  is hard at work on this version of the new Xcom which is another game im extremely excited for but they still shouldnt neglect Enemy Unknown but for whatever reason Firaxis claims they have something special in mind for there next dlc so we shall see.

I am confused.  I thought that 2k Marin was making the bureau.
