I just finished lettering my first comic, its independent, and it feels good.

Lettering is not at all like it used to be, where everything was done by hand, glued on to the britol board and then whatever happens next. With todays computers, lettering a comic only takes about 20 mins depending on how much text there is to fit in each word balloon. Placement is probably the hardest thing. You don't want to cover up faces or important actions.

I had fun doing this and look forward to doing another comic soon.

So far I have lettered 40 pages; 1 full issue, and 2 short stories.

Very cool.  Do you purposely bold random words for no reason like Marvel used to?

Nope. Never understood that, but I know there was a reason behind it.

Hey! Marvel aren't the only ones who do that! DC does it too!
