for not having made a direct deposit within the time frame of ... something. My statement period, or whatever.

I get my checks in the mail from where I work. I clicked on the charge cause it was a link. It said nothing about what time period in which I was supposed to make a direct (yes, this qualification was in the charge) deposit, just asked me to set up a direct deposit with ... them? I mean I guess they want me to transfer from savings to checking (where the charge exists) more often?

So because I don't have enough money in there; the reason being I was once again loaning some to a person; I get charged.

Up until now, I have loved my experience with Chase. I'll see what's up when I go in tomorrow, but for right now, I hope someone dies in a fire for this idea.

My older brother was familiar with the charge, so I guess it's not a mistake. Time for me to buy some gasoline, some pitchforks, and get a group together. I shouldn't make that joke considering I live in Texas. If you're a daft Canadian woman or Texas law enforcement officer reading this, please note I said joke. At least that kid made bail. You guys would do the same for me, right?

Well, fuck you too then, cheapskates. Guess I'll just have to make a fee for those of you that provide unsatisfactory amounts. Oh, I'll find a way. You think a man using pitchforks doesn't know his way around an interweb?!

Burn them all! Burn them all! That's what Aerys says right and I'm not going insane? Anyway, I have no idea what the charge is for. I haven't slept in nearly 24 hours. I tried to read it, but it just wasn't working for me. I shall endeavor to reread it after I sleep!

I'm just annoyed about what I think is an unfair charge from my bank, and decided to make a blog about it with a bunch of unfunny hyperbole thrown in. Have fune in Slumberland.

Id try to bail you out but id need help gathering the money, knowing your ass your bail would be set at 200,000 because you insulted the cops when they tryed to arrest you and tryed fighting them off with a dildo bat -_- LOL!

Well, this kid did none of that and his bail was $500,000. Maybe the dildo bat will make them laugh and set it lower. Tongue Out

In all seriousness, your image of me is quite different from the boring me that exists in real life, and I'm not quite sure what to make of the fact you think I own a dildo bat .... see, now I'm curious if "dildo bats" are a real thing, and I'm gonna go to jail for Googling that. Thanks a lot, geez! LOL

See I know you well enough to know you would go look it up!!! lol!!!!

In all seriousness though, the kids joke invloved a school with children so it would be higher no matter what. I just wanted to give ya good laugh :)

Well, that you did. Smile

And I know, I don't at all disagree with them investigating him, I just don't see how they decided eight years prison was appropos for an idiotic statement from some teen without any weapons in his place of residence. But whatever, he got bail from some anonymous rich guy.

For the record, I have not looked it up. I'm gonna go ahead and just assume they do in fact make dildo bats. If not officially, Rule 34 would most certainly dictate there are pictures of a makeshift version.

I dont either but the sentence is ridciclous, it was a bad joke but joke none the less. Teenagers dont fully process what they say. So i find the whole thing stupid.

Believe it or not, some people made custom dildo bats because of Saints Row 3,lol

LOL Now I remember Angry Joe had to buy a giant purple dildo for his review of that, however long ago.

That's dumb! But at least it wasn't a $30-something charge. The couple banks I've been with always seemed to $30-something charges. But charging people because they don't have enough money in their account always seemed like the worst kind of stupid to me. You don't have enough money so we'll charge you a fee. WTF? It seems like a holdover from the debtor's prison idea.

Well, so is college, but I'm planning on going back anyway. Although the rival school to my alma mater wears orange and is in somewhat (maybe exaggerated just slightly by us) close proximity to a jail, so I guess they're just up front about it. Tongue Out

Joking aside, I too am glad it's merely $6. $30-something is insane!

So because crooks that work in banks steal tax payer money and give themselves raises for screwing up and being bailed out, I'm to be stolen from for appearing too poor? Bullshit! Iceland got it right, if the government tells you banks are too big to fail, tell them to go to hell. Then again, they all pass for oversized football players, and we're all coming in second place only to Mexico in "biggest asses," so I take it they would be more intimidating. Undecided

That turned into a "political" rant there, sorry about that. I'm just upset because I hadn't realized I ordered my pitchfork on a Sunday, so it's gonna take a while.

And this is why I am done with banks and belong to a credit union.

I'm considering "Henry Fording" my money, but then I'd need a new mattress. Or a water bed, but somehow that sounds like a really stupid idea ... but it reminds me of childhood so much, I just might do it anyway. Maybe even buy a Simpsons themed water bed with Bart Simpson saying "Don't have a cow man" on it. Yes, the perfect plan.

I use Chase.  yeah, all banks are bastards, really.  it's funny, you'd think that people taking care of your money -- the most important thing in your life -- would have better customer service.  Not!

Yeah. At least I'm not with Bank of America, though. Heard plenty more horror stories from people with them.

Welcome to the new banking system! it's becomes so bad where if you don't even despoit ENOUGH, let alone have a certain amount in your checking/savings, you'll get docked a fee. The really sad part about this is that walmart's cash services only charge a 4 to 5 dollar fee for check cashing.

I'm considering a credit union. Wonder how similar Target is with the check cashing.
