August is gonna be a crazy month for game releases. Its like lets end summer with a bang in video games!!!! Well even though there are several Id like to pick up Im sadly gonna have to make scarficies. While I dont have to save up the entire ammount for the PS4 in August I need to start saving up for it and atleast have 200 something saved up by the end of the month so that the last bit which will prolly be around 245 can be saved up between September and October. I preordered it off Amazon so I cant put money down on it like someone who preordered at Gamestop. I get paid 3 times in August so that will be achieveable since I can separete bills in 3 ways and save any spare cash up. The games I am for sure getting in August are Dragons Crown and Final Fantasy 14: Realm Reborn. I wanted to get Tales of Xillia, Killer is Dead, The Bureau: Xcom Declassified, and Saints Row 4. I most likely will have to wait though until I know its okay to spend spare cash on them. What are your current buys for August or are you staying away from buying any new games?

By the way I know I said Id post a lot more blogs then I did this past weekened but Ive been really sore. Working out is doing what it is suppose to be so Im still working on blogs. Im gonna aim to write/finish a somewhat hyper blog for Dynasty Warriors 8 tonight once I get settled after work. It releases tomorrow I know but I still wanna write my hype one, or do you think I should wait an write a impressions blog from my first few hours with it? Opinions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I actually would love the special edition for Killer is Dead but its one of those that got scarificed. Now if I somehow do have the money saved and have spare money before it launches I might jsut try to grab it on Amazon. Other that though Im SOL,lol!

I'll be picking up Pikmin, DuckTails Remastered, and possibly Dream Team. I'm stoked for Killer is Dead, but that will likely drop in price in about a month or two (as do all Suda 51 games). Tales of Xillia is also on the radar, but that may be a holiday purchase.

Some of releases for the month prolly will be late buys/holiday ones for me too. Heck some of them might price drop between now and then so it makes me feel a lil better thinking about it.

Pikmin 3, Dragon's Crown, and Dream Team. Painkiller is a possibility too even though it's just an upgraded port of Hell Wars that I played on Original Xbox back in '06.

Im looking at waiting for a drop in price for Painkiller. I have heard good things but with all the pushbacks with it im a lil sketchy.

Painkiller developer People Can Fly have just left this IP behind. They got bought by Epic and did Bulletstorm and now Gears of War Judgment. Some ex-employees of People Can Fly formed The Farm 51 dev team to do Painkiller: Hell and Damnation. I hope this means a sequel might be in the works but I guess it will probably depend on how well this version does.

I mean, it was great back in '06. It's just like Serious Sam being a total run-and-gun shooter but with a darker more serious tone.

In September I get lucky, Its my bday month and Im using pretty much my bday money for the 2 games I want the most. They also come out on my bday! Kingdom Hearts HD and Puppeteer!

I forgot about Duck Tales. Woo OOO! I guess I really don't need it since I have it on NES, but that's about the only thing off this list that I'm interested in. I'll be saving up for Diablo 3 and GTA 5 in September though.

I want Diablo 3 but its one of those games that I am waiting and seeing. If I can pull it I will def be picking it up. I prolly wont buy GTA 5 and if I do it will prolly be when it price drops.

If I were to buy games in August, I would want xillia and the bureau. Since I just spent 100 on xenobladen and recently picked up last story, pandoras tower, and metro last light I made a deal with myself not to buy anything until the ps4.

I understand that, video game wise my only buy is DW8 for July so the 2 I get in August dont seem so bad. I however have to buckledown and watch my spending to save for the ps4 so I know how you feel!

I wanna see how Infinity does before I consider getting it. I really see it has a copycat for Skylanders but if it is a decent game Ill get it at some point. Ill keep an eye out for your review on it.

I'll be getting Dynasty Warriors 8 "soon" though I can't say when. I love the series but at the same time I'm trying to put aside extra cash. So......"tempted"!

If you get it for the PS3 we can game together man! I had to get it, Im a huge damn fan to the series, I couldnt resist! I understand saving. Thats what Im working on doing.

Oh my.. I didn't realize how many great games were coming out next month! Out of all of them though, I'm probably most interested in Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2, Tales of Xillia, Duck Tales Remastered, and Pay Day 2.

I want Castlevania:LOS 2 as well but I still have to beat the first LOS and the 3DS title. Once I have achieved both of those Ill def cave in and buy it,lol!

Eh....not for me, There are a few games releasing in September but GTA 5 is not on my list. Ive never been into GTA all that much. My September picks are Kingdom Hearts HD and Puppeteer for the most part.
